The HIDES Tech medium leather backpack purse arrives in a less than impressive logo box. The thin cardboard box was in terrible shape; bent and torn even though it was shipped in an undamaged cardboard box. Clearly the weight of the bag is too much for such a flimsy gift box.Luckily, the backpack was protected by a drawstring dust bag. Inside the dust bag, the backpack was undamaged. It's a beautiful bag. The full grain leather is unmarred and the color and finish is excellent.The bag has gold tone hardware, adjustable shoulder straps and a short carry handle. On the exterior, there is 8-1/2" by 9" front zipper pocket with an inner security zipper pocket, and credit card slots. There is another, smaller, flat zip exterior pocket on the other side of the bag.The main compartment has dual zippers and a full gusset. The bag can accommodate up to a 13" laptop.This bag is simple on details but the design is very expensive looking. Sometimes, less really is more.You could easily use this as a handbag; not just for work, schlepping around papers and your laptop.Although the price is intimidating, the bag should last for years, getting softer as it is used. There's value in that.

This is an absolute gorgeous backpack. It's perfect for a smaller laptop like 13 in or putting your tablet in there for on the go. I was so impressed by the quality of this when I picked it up It's a really nice leather and it's perfect for a professional wanting to use this for work. It doesn't look like a traditional backpack so That's great if you want to look very professional. I highly recommend this backpack!
