Gorgeous Screen, Solid All-Around Laptop
Beautiful OLED screen, perfect color reproduction and contrast, seems brighter than the 400 max nits advertised. Solid chassis, well-built with minimal flex, good keyboard with decent key travel for a compact 14-inch laptop, useable trackpad, even has a backlit keyboard (albeit faintly lit). Shockingly good sound quality and volume for a compact budget laptop. Touchscreen works fine, if anyone would need that on a laptop this size. Webcam is full HD, 1080p, better in low light than any webcam I have seen in this price range. Only 8 GB of non-upgradeable RAM, but very few people using this would really need more--just don't leave 15 webpage tabs open at the same time. Doesn't get that hot, fan is not overbearing. For the price, for the casual user who is not going to use this for heavy gaming, probably the best value laptop available right now. Good seller, shipped immediately. All of the updates during setup take awhile to download, but once you are past that you have a great, reasonably fast laptop to use, with almost no bloatware. Intel Core Ultra 5 processor easily handles complex webpages, Excel spreadsheets, and similar business programs. At 2.8 pounds, not the lightest, but compact build with tiny bezels around screen makes it very easy to carry and put in a backpack or bag.

Sweet-spot for business performance!
I run Kubuntu 24 on this and it is BLAZING FAST! I saw a 10x compile time boost from my old laptop (minutes to seconds). Unfortunately, new graphics must be compiled and installed to work optimized (difficult: libva-dev and media-driver) but then works perfectly. The speaker must be set to HiFi, because Pro Audio will not boot for me enabled (but will work if you toggle it on). Dualboot install was difficult, make sure to turn off bitlocker first and turning off Secure Boot (probably a good idea) will trigger Windows to lose your login. For windows, 8GB of RAM is very challenging. With a swap setup, might be perfectly fine though because the drive is incredibly fast too. That being said, basic performance out of the box is blazing but it just depends on your memory needs. The graphics seem decent enough for business application.Size, weight, keyboard etc all good. Battery life is decent, maybe 8 hours - my power management cuts performance in half unplugged by default but you wouldn't notice. Touchscreen is gorgeous, albeit not very big. You actually get better battery life not having 8GB sitting in there burning battery, so if you think you won't have a whole lot going at the same time and like performance/battery - this may make you happy.Bang per buck for a portable computer is amazing. If you need more memory, Vivobooks can be had for just a few bucks more but you'll likely get less performance.
