No noticeable flavor change
The instructions for this iron fish tell you to place the fish in boiling water and to boil for 10 minutes. You could add vegetables or whatever to this water and I assume that they will be infused with some iron. Now, they say to then remove the fish, but the step #3 shows the fish in the pot with the vegetables, so I’m not sure there. I don’t eat red meat (or nearly enough spinach) so I thought this would be great for me. I wanted to try it just with the water to see if it changed the flavor. It did not, as far as I could tell. I also used that boiled water for some tea which had no changed taste. It arrives in a cute box and each fish is sealed in a bag. I washed and dried the fish before using it, but left it on my dish drying mat. I must have gotten a couple of drops of water on the fish when placing other dishes on the mat, because it had a little rust on it the next morning. This washed right off, so no problem. I am a bit concerned about the string attached to it as it will stay wet even if the fish is dried and so may rust at that spot. I couldn’t remove it from the water by the string, so will likely remove it. I have no way of knowing how much iron I received from using this. I did test it for lead as I wanted some peace of mind there and it is definitely lead free, so no worries.

Made water and has a very strong disgusting taste. Im reading reviews saying that they're fish came vacuum sealed? Mine came in a little bag not vacuumed sealed. Probably received someone's return. Returning & don't recommend

Iron supplement fish
Convenient to use and seems to give off the iron as described. I have been getting iron supplements, so I am going to keep using these and see if they help more in the future.
