The first book is brilliant: a fully realised world and wonderfully told. The other books are good, but not brilliant.

After seeing the films it never occurred to me that I should read the books. Really enjoying them so far. Delivered quickly and in time.

After I read a copy of Omerta by Puzo, many friends told me I should read The Godfather. I then started to research all of his other books, but it was only the mafia related ones that caught my interest. The collection is very well priced considering each individual book is rrp £7.99. I have finished The Godfather and currently 1/4 the way through The Sicilian. The Godfather is truly one of the best books I have ever read and re watching part 1 & 2 movies you can see how much is missed out, although mostly side story but a few important bits that relates to the main story.

Doesn’t come in a box set as I expected but I love the books so happy
