The best versatile red for RI
When you need a true RED that can be bright apple red, holiday red or a deeper red, this is the way to go!! I love the bottle size because I never worry about running out and of course it’s a better value. Color quality is amazing and can be versatile to your needs. Does not bleed.

Perfect
Perfect. Exactly what i needed to create the color i needed for my cookies. The bottle size was a better value because i normally buy the smaller sizes that would get used quickly.

Purple food coloring
I do not use this food coloring in cooking, although it is made for that.I use it mixed with mousse on certain strands of my hair for a streaked in purple color. Then I blow dry. I’ve also used it on all my hair. It lasts and does not rub off mixed with mousse until I wash it out.

Buildable and Cute!
I used this for my sister’s birthday cake. I am super new to decorating so I wasn’t sure on recommended products. I tried this one and it came out super pretty! I also made crumbl’s pink sugar cookie with it and used more than I used with the cake and it came out super bold and perfect! Really great for all pink needs. No taste change either!

good product
It’s pigmented, but if you don’t have an immersion blender, you’ll need to use a lot to get the right color.

Not black without heat, and dyes your mouth!
After reading so many positive reviews about how black this is, I did have high expectations...and I did achieve black icing eventually…but won’t be using it.I tested this on a container of store bought buttercream icing before using my homemade buttercream in case it didn’t work.I used about 1 tsp of color and let it sit 24 hours, which produced a dark gray color.I learned from YouTube that you can heat the icing to deepen colors, so I popped it in the microwave for 20 seconds, and it turned BLACK!I did this because I didn’t want to add too much gel and change the texture or taste.Once it cooled in the fridge I stirred it and iced my cake which was a perfectly black hue.I served my trial cake to a couple of friends, and thank the Lord that I did this before our big party…everyone had black lips and teeth!! Also, the next day we all had green blue poop!Needless to say, I will not be serving black icing to my party guests, but I guess it does what it was made to do!
