Great taste, good value & also great for KETO!
Firstly, buy with confidence, as the overall value is good.Taste:Really great taste, you get a very meaty taste straight off the bat, with a well seasoned second taste. For me I certainly got the cloves, and coriander although there are other spices there too. Not a "bloody" taste in the sense of blood, its a mature meaty taste with a good depth of flavor.Ingredients:Better than the normal branded supermarket run of the mill Biltong. I am on the KETO diet where no or little carbs are important. an per 100g there are 0.6 grams, and for 28g there are 0.2 grams, and take note that these are 28g packs the carb count is very low! with good fat content and protein alike. So in terms of my go-to snack, this is healthy.Price:through this seller -10 x 28g = 280 @ £16.99 (reduced from £19.99 - so price may go back up), £1.69 per 28g pack (reduced price) and £1.99 at full price (at which I paid), of which I am happy to pay due to the convenience, along side the taste etc, ingredients and packaging.Buy direct -15 x 28g = 420 @ 27.99, which is £1.86 per 28g pack (slightly cheaper if sold on Amazon at £19.99) - slightly more expensive but not a lot.Overall good value and not overpriced at all, which means good value for money. For me, I am happy with the product, and I normally grab a pack in the evening a couple of hours before bed knowing that 28g of a health product is good for me. So I will definitely purchase again.

pretty good
Iv'e ordered two bags of this so far and both have been very consistent, the meat is dry and not at all greasy to the touch which is a major plus for me as i snack while at a computer, in terms of texture it starts off a bit tough as you would expect but very quickly softens up and has a great flavour, the only downside here for me was that i found a gristly bit, but i only found the one out of a combined 1KG of meat so I'm not really bothered by it.As for flavour the chilli flavouring comes in the form of dried chilli flakes, personally i like this as it is natural and doesn't leave powder residue everywhere but there are a couple of downsides, the spiciness can vary from bit to bit and also the flakes tend to settle towards the bottom of the pack so the end 'crumbs' are very spicy compared to the rest, apart from that the flavour is pretty much the standard salty/beefy flavour with a hint of vinegar you would expect from biltong. The packs are not resealable but i found folding the top and using a clip worked providing you keep it in the fridge.Overall i very much enjoyed the product.

Give it some time - you'll end up loving it
So I used to buy jerky at normal supermarkets for extortionate prices. Came across Ember and saw their buy 4 and get 1 free offer, and thought I might as well bulk-buy and give it a go.The supermarket jerky is full of salt, additives and other crap. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of Ember at first because I thought it lacked taste. After a few days though, I really began to appreciate what they were going for - decent quality beef jerky which wasn't full of anything extra, but jerky which basically let its natural beefy taste speak for itself.Once my boxes finished, I tried buying jerky from the supermarket again, but found it utterly disgusting. I finally noticed that jerky from the supermarket was encrusted in this thick, salty layer which I am sure is designed to just mask the taste of their jerky. Ember on the other hand, you can literally just see beef jerky, and a little bit of spices on top of it. You can really appreciate the flavour, the texture, and just a more natural wholesome taste.Although I can't quite afford a bulk-buy again just yet, I really look forward to the time when I can. Definitely worth every penny.

Amazing product, but changed recipe makes me wonder.
I loved this product, I thought it was the best jerky I have ever tasted - my amazon account tells me that I bought it 11 times in just a couple of years. However, come 2024, I think the recipe has been changed, it tastes a lot drier and saltier and I am going to search for alternatives - it is just not the same somehow. The difference was very noticeable, it used to taste wholesome and healthy, it now tastes like I should not eat it for the salt and whatever else.

Delicious
I've tried various makes of biltong but find them either too salty or over seasoned.Embers original recipe was absolutely perfect..

Best on the market
Ember absolutely do the best biltong on the market, I've been buying this for a while now and no other brand is as tasty or has as good a texture. I now have the subscription for the 1 kilo each month. Great product
