Simple and Beautiful
We did a complete DIY tear out and remodel of our bathroom. I am so happy I picked this door! It's simple and allows the beautiful tile to be the focus of the room. (Pats self on back for learning how to set tile). The door was packaged very well, the hardware was all good and the directions were easy to follow. It took hubby and I about two hours start to finish to get this in place. The glass pieces are heavy and a bit hard to wrangle, so this will not be a one person job. Have a helper who can help lift and hold the glass while you screw it all together. As a side note, we pre-drilled the glass tile for the screw holes to reduce the risk of busting a set tile, which would have been a big problem.Of note, the hinges are very sturdy. This door will not swing around on it's own - it takes a pretty solid nudge to get the center to fold back. I was afraid my cats could jump up and swing the door and cause it to chip or break if it hit the wall or faucets. I do not see this being an issue.I've also seen several people posting about wanting a frosted option. I would imagine you could do this by purchasing some cling on film like for windows and doors to add a pattern or more privacy.

Will not recommend for young kids bathroom
We bought this for my daughters bathroomIt look very nice and it fold inside the tub which is great. But... it doesn’t close well enough to hold the water inEvery time after shower the bathroom floor is wet ( very wet) because the door fold a little bit and water running outside of the tub from it

Modern alternative to shower curtains
We were replacing shower curtains, and this works perfectly. The door bi-folds closed, then swings onto itself when storing against wall (as in the manufactures pictures). Though, in doing so the handle is then tucked against the wall, behind the glass, so not accessible. You can flip the hinge around to adjust for that depending on your installation needs. I'd also think there would be more screws provided for the vertical connection the tub shower wall - that's a lot of pivoting over time. The quality seems really nice, with clean modern look.

So glad I purchased this door
So glad I purchased this door! While renovating my bathroom I wanted to keep my original cast iron tub, but did not want a shower curtain. Several contractors discouraged me from getting this type door because the edge of my tub is rounded and curved and they thought that I would have leakage. I took a chance and am so glad I did. The door is beautiful- from the glass, to the chrome hinges, to the little chrome knob. It makes my small bathroom seem more spacious. I think the clean, fresh style of the door creates a great transitional look combined with some of the more vintage features in the bathroom.A huge plus to this door is that it swings both ways. The hinge folds inwards. With the door folded and swung open, it is very easy to clean tub/shower area.I have had no issues with water leaking under door. I do have to be careful where I point my handheld shower, but that is to be expected with this type of panel.I sprayed it with Original Rain-X, but it still gets some water spots if not squeegeed after each shower.

Modern, clean, beautiful.
I have yet to use it, but it sure looks good! I am worried by how little it covers my tub. And am hoping too much water won’t splash out. But judging solely off aesthetics, it’s beautiful! And I love the fact that I can fold it away when I want to have a bath. This would not have been an option with the frameless sliding doors I wanted (since one panel would have to be fixed). Also, it took my contractor about 20 minutes to install!Update: not too much water splashes out if your careful. The only real complaint I have about it is that my showers are colder now that there is only half a piece of glass keeping the warm air in. No one really mentions this in their reviews, but it is definitely a huge difference than having a full coverage tub door. If you don’t mind the cold air on one side, then get it.

Hinges falling apart with normal use in less than a month after installation
Giving 1 star because the main reason we purchased this door was to have the ability to collapse and use the ‘half-door’. With less than a month after installation the hinge pins started to fall out during normal operation. The supplied hinges are literally coming apart as i enter/exit the bathtub every time.

Quite Happy with the Look and Quality
The installation went smoothly despite some vagueness in the instructions. I, like others, reversed the hinges so the panels open outward from the tub so access to the entire opening is available for bathing babies, etc. The instructions indicate that attaching the main door to the wall mount is done on only one side. I found that the door creaks a lot while opening/closing. They include spare mounting screws/caps so I installed those on the other side of the wall mount. Creaking all but gone.

A weak 3
I wish I'd done a little more homework before making this purchase. My biggest beef is the instructions. They're not written by the people who write the "for dummies" books, that's for sure. It isn't the easiest thing to install, and if you can get someone to help you, it'd go a lot smoother. The "threshold" piece is very difficult to understand and the instructions do not state anywhere that you need to leave room for the bottom of the doors to clear this threshold - so, I ended up having to back out the mounting screws - lift the doors up, re-drill and secure it a second time. Even then - there isn't enough room for the doors to clear the threshold - so, I will end up securing the threshold and only opening the doors inward. If I had it to do all over again - I wouldn't. Not thrilled.
