It’s worth the money

It's a perfect fit for the US Stove USSP31 firepit, sits right on top. I cooked grilled chicken the first night. Keep the grill top screen on the side until the fire settles down a bit though. The smokeless fire 🔥 while it is really going hot is too hot for the screen and will cause it to warp and sag. Let the fire burn down a bit, then put the grill top on the pit and start cookin'! This thing will last forever if you treat it well, take good care of it.

I was reading other people's reviews of good/bad and contemplating whether I still should buy that or not,and now I am glad that I did. My husband really loves it and he knows how this stuff works. Other people said that warped so quickly and became useless. I disagree on that one, just not put that directly on that fire pit prevents it from doing that. As you can see from my picture, my husband used some leftover pavers from the fire pit to raise it, so preventing from overheating. Hopes this will help you.

I built a firepit that can also serve as a woodfire BBQ. I purchased this grate for it because of the size, the low cost, and the sturdiness. So far, it's held up well. However, I do not advise always keeping it on over open flames, if you do not intend to cook food upon it. The metal will soon wear out and break. And as the protective grate covering burns off, leaving it to the elements will soon turn to rust. Just the nature of the product and ones like it.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a sturdy foundation for a fountain I wanted to make. I had this heavy ceramic "side table" that I set over a basin for a fountain. I needed something sturdy and also had opens to run my water pump up. I think it works nicely. Haven't had to clean it at all.

Since we have not used the grill yet it's hard to write a review. The main reason we plan on using the grill is to cook on at home and camping. We did take it with us when camping but because of fire restrictions campfires were not allowed.

Update. I expected this not to last but so far it’s holding up great. We’ve cooked on it a few times and it’s been left out through a couple winters on the fire pit. Holding up just fine to the abuse of the weather and our two dogs standing on it all the time.We ordered this for an event we were having. It was supposed to arrive two days later. Two days later it hasn’t left the shipping facility. I ordered a second one and it arrived the very next day. First one still hasn’t arrived two weeks later. Requesting a refund.Now for quality. It is very lightweight. We mainly wanted it to cover our pit while not in use to keep the cats out so I will keep it, but we did not cook anything on it like we planned for our event as I’m sure it won’t last.

Used it as a lid for a 50 gallon oil drum I bought thru Amazon. Next time the smaller one.
