Chevik X-Grip Bike Mobile Holder with Charger Waterproof

I got this product prior to a ride from Pondicherry to Trivandrum.I rode through Highway at Highway speeds,rode through miles of broken tarmac, rode through winding curves of Valparai, and through heavy rainfall in Pathanamthitta. This thing still works great so far.I know I've only had it for about 2 months, but so far, I think this product is good.Ah, instead of directly connecting it to your battery, connect it to the key wala wire. That way, the charger only switches on when you flip the key, otherwise anyone can charge their phone and drain your battery while your bike is parked somewhere. You can just ask any mechanic, they should know how to do it.And yea, our phone will heat up a lot, if plugged in for charging during hot weather riding, but I think it's the problem with our phone batteries, so avoid charging it during hot weather riding.And yea,Those 4 Rubber Tips, they sometimes tend to fall down, so pull them out, put some glue (waterproof) inside and stick 'em back on. That is all the adjustment you'll need to do.I love this product and if I didn't find it to be good, I wouldn't take this much time out to type all this.So yea, Happy Riding! Beware!! This mount and other branded mounts are manufactured by same place. They buy it at whole sale, put there branded logo and sell it online. The reason i am saying is bcz this chevik is little costly almost ₹250 compared to other self branded mount.About productProduct quality is good. Finishing could be better. The additional rubber grip is added bonus for your phone safety not to fall on very bad roads when the x-grip loses its tensile.The USB should be detachable though. Because of that it looks more dirty.If you don't care about how your bike looks then this mount is the best. Otherwise if u just need USB to charge On The Go, then go for USB only which comes without mount.

I've been waiting for couple of days of usage to write this review so that the initial euphoria of buying a gadget gets down.Now let's begin..The delivery by Amazon was impeccable. I liked the packaging on the product. It had minimal risk of damage in transit.The product comes inside its own cardboard box with couple of spare rubber holders and a rubber fastener for mobile. It can be a DIY installation provided you have washers to fasten the holder with either the mirror or the handle itself. It can be mounted using the same bold on your motorcycle.Now coming to the product itself. The build quality is decent. It looks and feels sturdy. When mount on the motorcycle, the mobile stays in its place albeit lots of vibration. It looks as if its going to pop out, but it doesn't. I've had my motorcycle ride on very bad patches of road, the mobile stays put in its place. So cudos to the grip which is very strong. Thr charger works as mentioned. Although it is not as fast as my primary one, I'm not complaining since I wont be using it as my primary source to carge the mobile. It gets the job done and I'm more than happy with it.Now the reason why I gave it a 3 star instead of 5 is because it is designed to hold mobiles around 5" to 51/2". My mobile being large doesn't qitesit in the middle. Also he included rubber fastener also does not work for me. Also the ball joints not fit tight and can br moved easily without applying much pressure. Although the mobile doesn't move during transit, I'd have been happy if thr ball jojnts would have sat snug.Bottom line : Given the price to usability and quality of materials used, I'd say one won't be much unhappy buying this. I've seen couple of other "cheap" mobile holders and would safely keep my mobile on this rather than the ones available for much less.

Not suitable for Bullet Enfield Meteor 350CC

Little costly compared to others, but you would get solid quality & awesome support for it.I used it on couple of rides of about 400+ KM's. It stood rock solid till the very end even on worst off roads the mobile didn't move a bit. I hv done speeds of 100-140kmph with it on n it doesn't vibrate much, giving you a good view of ur screen at all times.Once i was fidgeting with it for getting a good position of mobile screen with the ball joint tightened n accidently i got the inside screw loose but these guys helped me by sending me a video of how to get it fixed.I even lost my tether which came with it n guys at chevik sent me an extra free of cost.I recommend this to everyone who is looking for a good quality Mobile holder. If u compare it to RAM mounts, i would say spending so much money on imported products doesn't make any sense when u can get such quality products at reasonable rates manufactured in India itself.
