Oxford Junior Illustrated Dictionary

Love the thickness of this book.and the bright colours that the children can use for their imagination

Has most of the words that my daughter wants to find. Beware however that this is an Oxford Dictionary and contains British English.As an example - my daughter wanted to spell the word "garbage." This is a Canadian/ American term and therefore was not present in this book (neither is "trash"), but "rubbish" was there. As it is British English some of the words are also going to vary compared to Canadian words such as realise (realize - although this book does have the variation on a few words).

I gave this to my 7 year old grandson.He loved looking up new words. We made it fun.Good starter book, well made. Perfect price

Purchased for my granddaughter. Having great respect for the accuracy and correctness of Oxford Dictionaries, ordered for this. No disappointment, happy. However, have a feeling that a hardcover could have been more appropriate.
