Does the trick, for the price
There are many sellers of essentially the same flashlight made in China. I buy these cheap ones as stocking stuffers. Seem to be a good value.

Very bright, versatile little lights.
4 stars because one light went on and immediately died. The other ones were/are all great! They focus to a VERY bright, small-ish, square light at pretty impressive distances (esp. for the tiny size!). They have an added bonus of a somewhat jagged edge around the lens housing, i.e.- a formidable defense tool in the palm of one's hand. Gave some to female loved ones for their pocketbooks/backpacks/glovebox....

I Love These Flashlights!
I have probably brought 2 dozens of these flashlights over the years. I can't say they are the brightest or have the longest battery life but for what you pay for them they are Awesome! They are nice and bright and only take one AA battery. I keep one EVERYWHERE. I have given a lot of them away and everyone seems to love them. They're cheap enough that if you lose one or give some away it's no big deal to just order another batch.

Good deal price-wise - but think twice before giving to kids
Overall, a pretty amazing-for-the-price collection of metal-turned flashlights.Zoomed in, the pinpoint of light is perfect for finding that vitamin D caplet that got away. Zoomed out, there's a decent spread of bright light. And it's nice that each light takes only 1 AA battery. As others have noted, the third switch-press (flashing bright light) flashes very rapidly and very brightly. If I were a bicyclist, I'd welcome that for a night ride.However... the fancy metalworking results in near-knife edges to the ears protruding ahead of the lens, and the edges of the ribbing on the sides are likewise sharply cut... and the final issue for me is the thin, sharp pocket clip. If you plan to put these in the hands of your children, better first lay in a box of band-aids.Still and all, in our emergency-ish cupboard (one I know I can find in the dark), these are going to come in really handy when our ancient grid goes down once again in the US Northeast. In my hand or in my pocket -- not so much. I may just break out my set of mini-files and smooth things over on any I think I'll be carrying. And I'll remove the clip (it's held on by two tiny Allen screws)

Not as sturdy as others
I've been buying this style flashlight for many years. I love that they work on a single AA battery (they must have a voltage converter built in since white LEDs require more than 3volts) and they keep running until the battery is really used up. The good news is that all five of these "Enjoydeal" flashlights actually worked. (Years ago I once had only 3 out of 5 of other brands work.) But, these are definitely more cheaply made. While the outer dimensions are pretty much the same as others, they are hollowed out more than others (I checked with calipers). This means that the AA cell rattles around a bit more. I weighed them and they weigh 1.4 ounces each. I compared them to previous units (one with no labeling, one with Micafen/Cree labels, and one with Micafen/XPE labels) and they each weighed 2.1 ounces - that's 50% more! Worst, with this thinner housing design, the front edges are extremely sharp. I used a file to try to round the worst edges. I'd hesitate to hand them out as toys to children. The brightness varied a bit but seemed similar to the comparison units in side by side tests. These were advertised as 350 lumen instead of 300 lumen, but I couldn't see any systematic difference. (In fact, I doubt if any of these flashlights produce anything close to 300 lumen.) In the future I'll go back to Micafen lights, even if they cost a dollar or two more for five. (They were temporarily out of stock when I put in this order.)

Works well, nice and bright
These work very well. They have a nice bright light, but you can half-click the button for a dimmer mode, and half-click again for a fast strobe mode (3 modes total). They can be zoomed. They will work on an AA alkaline battery, but are brighter with a Li-ion 3.7V 14500 rechargable battery. They have a steel pocket clip, but it can optionally be removed by undoing two small hex screws.

A little on the lightweight side, but plenty good enough.
There are many suppliers producing look-alike flashlights like this one, and I'd give it the full five stars if it had just one change in the design: get rid of all the extraneous switch functions beyond On and Off. I have no need for "dim", or "flashing", and if it has the idiotic "SOS" mode, i hope I never find out. Most of the competitors have this same misfeature, and while this one allows bypassing it to an extent, I'd greatly prefer that those extra modes just not be present. That said, using these with the 14500 rechargeable Lithium batteries provides a useful runtime in a compact size, and the extra cost of the lithium battery and its charger is well worthwhile if you use a flashlight often.

Great Bang four your Buck
I like having one of these flashlights in the night stand of every bedroom in the house. This would assisted not only me and my husband (in a case of house fire) but also any guests staying with us. The extras were place in the powder room and guest bathroom in case of power outage at that inconvenient time.
