Perfect item
My car began having an issue with starting and all lights indicating an issue. Read about the cruise control switch and it's surprisingly easy to install. Worked like a charm and car has started with no issues.

Perfect fit for a 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid
This part is a perfect fit for a 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid. It is made in Japan by Nissan. Installation is 5 minutes tops. There are YouTube videos on how to uninstall the old part and install the new one. What I can add is to hold the brake pedal with your right hand in the uppermost position, then compress the part against the small metal plate on the pedal with your left hand until the button is fully compressed and finally lock the part in place by a 1/4 turn. Don’t forget to reconnect the electrical wire. Worked for me and saved me an expensive trip to the dealership. This part (the cruise control brake switch) and it’s bigger brother (the ignition brake light switch) at the same location are the source of 99% of the electrical problems of the Altima. Otherwise, the car is rock solid. In 12 years of ownership, I have replaced these two switches, the fuel pump, the 12-volt battery and 4 tires. Everything else is original.

Does what it is supposed to
Works fine but note that this isn't a brake or stop lamp switch and will not fix problems with Nissans that have the stop lamp switch issue lighting up the VDC/Slip/ABS lights, for that you need the brake switch under a different part number.

2016 Nissan Quest SV = It worked!
This saved us 300+ dollars and a trip to the Nissan dealership. These push to start vehicles are both and blessing and a curse! The push to start stopped working and thank goodness we have YouTube university bc a nice man showed us what we needed to fix our 2016 Nissan Quest SV! I bought this switch along with the cruise control one. They were easy for my hubby to install and we were able to get back to our busy life within about 15 minutes!

Fixed no start on 2012 Juke
Saved me $40 over the dealership (who would've had to order it anyway)

Installed on a 17 Nissan Versa
I installed this on a 17 Nissan Versa manual transmission car. The directions are a little vague on some of the wiring, They say to connect to the hot wire at the ignition switch. This causes the indicator lights to be lit all the time even when the key is off. I also had only two wires on my brake switch which caused me some concern as to the correct procedure for wiring. I was going to contact the manufacture for technical assistance and was greeted with the message. Rostra Technical Support Installer Note: Rostra cruise control products purchased through eBay, Amazon, or Walmart are not eligible for technical support.I did get this installed and it operates as it should. I did see someone say they installed this in a 1/2 hour. All I can say is he is superman. I am old so it took me more time than that.
