It worked for our fan light perfectly. Previous owners absconded with the first remote, so our electrician climbed up to the ceiling and told us nothing was wrong with the light, it just needed a remote. Yay!

This is a replacement for the original remote. It is a Hunter combo light and fan. Once it arrived and I installed the batteries it worked like the orginal. I would recommend it.

Works perfectly with my fan. If you've got a fan that's compatible with the remote, don't hesitate to get this. It even fits in the original remote holder so that you don't have to remount the remote. For the price, I may get a second one for the room with a loft so that there's one on the wall and one by the bed. Saved me from having to replace a fan that wouldn't have otherwise been usable.

I bought an Anderic receiver for my hunter fan. Which installed very nice but wouldn't work until I bought this remote. The frequencies are slightly different. This was nice because it added dimmer control.
