Amazing Results!
My pool service guy recently retired, leaving me with full pool maintenance. Over the past month the heat has come on and algae started growing, along with general dirt & leaf accumulation at the bottom. I've been sweeping, backwashing, adjusting chemicals, vacuuming, etc., but I just haven't been able to keep up with the demands so far. I ordered this automatic vacuum in hopes that it would save me some time & effort.I just received it this afternoon and installed it. It took about an hour, including all the hose and valve optimizations. The vacuum itself is super easy to put together. But you do have to do some calibrations to ensure the hose length is right for your pool. If not, it can get stuck in corners with steps and transitions. Once I got the length correct, I left it running and went out for dinner. Upon my return, I was shocked to see my pool cleaner than it has been in the past month. Leaves gone. Accumulated dirt gone. Just a crystal clear pool and my new vacuum doing it's thing.I had a similar looking "Kreepy Krauly" vacuum about 10 to 15 years ago. That did a decent job, but it would always get stuck at the main bottom drain, due to the flapper getting caught. The flapper on this one has upward facing edges solving that problem. The included intake valve has an adjuster on it, so you can micro-optimize the suction after adjusting your pump valves. Everything was included making this a super easy install.I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Best $99 I ever spent, and just in time to enjoy my pool for the summer!

Works well
So far this is working very well. It is fast and climbs walls. It even goes on vertical surfaces.I had a different brand that didn't work as well or clean as well. It also often got stuck. So far, this one one flawless. As long as it lasts, we are good. It uses a little rubber valve instead of a block that moves back and forth. I'm sure it will wear out sooner but they include a replacement. Good deal! As long as it lasts, I will be happy!

Clean your pool
Bought this unit to use on my 10,000 gallon in ground pool. My pool has a main drain valve along with a skimmer valve. For starters, the elbow connectors and regulator assembly that go into your skimmer were too short to exit the skimmer. A trip to Home Depot solved the problem, see my photos so you’ll know exactly what you’ll.All air has to be out of the lines or your pump will lose its prime. Use the supplied weight(s) to prevent the vacuum from climbing too high on pool walls where it might catch air at the top of wall causing you to lose prime. I tinkered with the weight placement a lot to find the sweet spot.Next, it requires some tinkering with your pool valves to get it just right. If my main drain is fully closed, the suction is too strong and the vacuum gets stuck on occasion due to the strong suction. Keep playing with the valves to get the perfect mix. For me, it’s approx. 75% skimmer, 25% main drain.Lastly, this unit comes with 2 diaphragms, one of which is already installed in the unit, so no need to waste time figuring out how to open up the unit to install a diaphragm, it’s already there. Stash the spare diaphragm for use at a later date.Overall, this rig is solid and it gets the job done for me. It’s worth a a hundred bucks.

VINGLI Pool Vacuum was a complete waste of money and time.
I have had a pool for 20 years and have maintained the pool myself for 20 years. This is an in ground pool with a screen enclosure. Because of the screen enclosure, we do not have a significant problem with leaves or other debris. As we all know there will be some leaves, mainly after cutting the yard.During these 20 years, I have used many vacuum pool cleaners. Many of these have been the well-known name brand units. I also tried some of the off brand options such as the XtremepowerUS. Recently I purchased the VINGLI Pool Vacuum, March 2025. It has been nothing but a headache. I replaced it by the end of June 2025.Even with a clean pool canister filter, clean skimmer basket and clean motor filter basket, the VINGLI Pool Vacuum would only work for a few days. Multiple times I re-cleaned the filters, and then the VINGLI Pool Vacuum would work again but only for a few days. This was horrible and maddening. Commonly the pool vacuums work easily 2 to 3 weeks before the filter needs to be fully cleaned.Wanting to fully evaluate the VINGLI Pool Vacuum, and needing a reliable pool vacuum, I purchased a different but still off brand unit that I had previously used. Without changing anything except the vacuum itself I replaced vacuum. The replacement vacuum from a different but manufacturer worked perfectly. In fact, my pump pressures improved. Again, nothing was changed except for the vacuum. The same hoses, the same wall connector, the filter canister and filter baskets were NOT cleaned or otherwise worked on. Only the vacuum itself was replaced. Days later the newly replaced vacuum, from a different manufacturer, is still working well and as expected. The VINGLI Pool Vacuum is garbage. The VINGLI Pool Vacuum was a complete waste of money and time.

Works!
This thing works better than expected.Cleans the pool, misses some areas sometimes or gets stuck in a corner occasionally, but for the money, it works really well. I bought a second one. Works better than other expensive ones for our large diving pool. I’m surprised..

Needs constant help getting around. Gets stuck easily.
Needs constant baby sitting. This unit works okay. It basically walks around using a water hammer effect and cleans okay as long as you move it around to a clear path. The power of the unit depends on your pump. I have a decent pump system and it doesn’t have the power to use the strainer and tool at the same time. It comes with plenty of fitting for most configurations for a leak free setup. It makes almost zero noise. It’s not that easy to use because it needs you to constantly put it in a better spot. It weighs very little compared to what it is. My advice is get a robot for just little bit more money. I ended up just using my old pole mounted cleaner with filter valve set to waste and cleaned the whole pool in 30 minutes. I baby say this unit for 2 hours and it did about a quarter of the pool getting stuck frequently.
