I am not a medical person nor veterinary. I am a basic farm owner who deals with animals. As a rule my first course of action with an injury would be to call my vet. However, these days seems one needs to be prepared just in case of any emergency situation. These are really for my emergency medical kit and I pray I never need them. Best I can tell these seem well made and look a little larger like for a horse or cow. Sorry I don't know more about these but I do feel much better knowing I could probably help in a serious situation.

These VeterSut VetCRYL absorbable Polyglactin sutures in size 1 are great for larger things. We chose these to have on hand to take care of horses, cattle and wildlife. They use EO sterilization which is the type of process used for tattoo needles, for the sake of comparison. The sutures are individually packaged and then come in a slide tray storage container from the manufacturer. This makes it easy to access as well and track what is left in the box.I am pleased with the quality and the ability to have these on hand when they are needed. My rating is 5 Stars.
