The bumpy surface makes it hard to clean to use more than once

This is a simple and nice board. You have to get the nice chalkboard markers. I would say good up until 2nd grade after that it's a bit too small. I used it for Pre-K. Over all it's a decent cheap board. Wipes clean easily.

Was a good deal and works great

This was our first time using a "first day of school" board, and it worked perfectly! Board is lightweight, but framed, so it feels sturdy. This also was my first time using a board for use with a chalk pen. I loved it! It wrote so smoothly. I used chalk pens purchased from Michael's because I needed them ASAP. 4 days later I went to erase the chalk pen with a wet, lint-free rag, and VOILA, the writing was completely erased with very little effort. Was worried about "ghost" writing left after trying to erase, but it looks like it did when I received it. Glad I didn't spend the ~$30 for a board through one of the online personalization retailers. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this item.

I received this and had not had time to use it. I was gonna use it for my Daughter's first day of school but realized the frame was damaged and lose. Really disappointed 😞

It works. In pictures it looks good but stand alone it does feel a bit cheap. The good news with that is even preschoolers can hold it without it feeling heavy.I used chalk markers and they wiped away with a bit of work but it came out clean in the end.Overall a good board if you need something quick and don't want to spend a lot of money
