I didn't even figure out there is a camera light if you press the power button once after turning it on. I thought the video quality was excellent. Another important timesaver and quality tip: if you don't want the date and time stamp to appear in your post recording video -- press the Mode button twice (NOT THE MENU BUTTON), select Date, then choose the middle option to turn off the stamp. It's very easy to use once you get used to it. Great and very sturdy tripod, I recorded outside in the Windy City of Chicago and right on the lake where it's windy for real...and the tripod held solid. I got this camera for my YouTube channel @BodybyNaledi to record my dance workout videos myself for content. Looking forward to finally getting a professional workout video shoot done. Until then - this camera will be putting in work!!! Oh the sound is great. Although for this video I put the dance track over the video audio in IMovie. There was too much audible wind in the original audio of the camera to use in the final cut. I'm not a techie camera person at all --- but I think you all may know what I mean. Either way I do recommend this camera. Oh one more thing - the batteries only charge inserted in the camera and not apart. Takes about 2+ hours for each. And one battery runs about 3-4 hours on a full charge to record video. But that also could depend is it continuous recording too? Hope this helps. For the price, and for what I need it for to get the job done with excellent quality doing it on my own -- I give this five stars and recommend it for video content creators with purpose and intent!

Great video camcorder! Really love some of the functionality. I use zoom a lot and it is one of the best I have used in terms of a video camera. I can't get the video shots with my phone like I can with this unit so glad I grabbed one. It videos in 1080p which is amazing and is really easy to use considering I am not an expert. I love that it has a microphone and a remote control and the recordings are really clear. One of the best features is the anti shake function. It also lets you continue taping if the internal battery loses charge because you can use AA batteries as well so you have the best of both world

I bought this camera to start shooting videos for YouTube and was surprised at how complete it is for the price. The video quality in Full HD 1080P is good for beginners and the external microphone greatly improves audio, which is usually a weak point in budget cameras.I really liked the 3-inch rotating screen; it's very useful for recording myself. Plus, it features two batteries, which is great for long recordings, and the remote control makes handling easy without having to touch the camera.The 16x digital zoom is functional, although it does not compare to an optical zoom. Alright, I bought this camcorder for work-related stuff (had to go to a rally). I always look at the reviews and the number of reviews. I was under the assumption that it would be able to record for 15 minutes to an hour (depending on the memory card). I bought the largest memory card which was 256 GBS and it said I could have over 13 hours of video. I tested it two nights before the event as well as followed the instructions for formatting the card in the camera. (I only recorded 2-3 minutes to test the picture and audio.) The image was ok, not the best; you get what you paid for which was fine I just really needed the audio (which was ok, but horrible at the rally). The issue I had was that I was only 100-130 feet away from the stage and the image came out awful and the audio was horrendous. I didn't care about the image of the video mostly the audio for work. The worse part was that the video kept cutting off at random times like at 13 minutes or at 4 seconds. I was recording a speech so it was very important for me to have audio at least. When I put the memory card in my laptop, the videos didn't allow me to open them saying it was corrupted and there was a bunch of videos cut off at random times and the audio was static.So overall, the camera wasn't good, maybe I had a defective camera but I had to return it. I don't think I'll buy a camera from them again but if you are interested in buying it, I would read the reviews. If you do buy it, remember that it can be returned and you get what you paid for. My experience wasn't great but there are others who had a better experience.On a positive note: I didn't take any pictures of the camera itself but it came with everything from the description. all the chargers and cords worked and the batteries were not charged. I charged the batteries for about 2.5 hours and only got about 30 minutes out of each; luckily I had portable chargers and I just plugged that into the camera to charge (which it did). I probably had a defective camera and I hope no one gets that one.
