Much better than the Walley
Had the Walley that a lot of times didn't connect with the satellites always had to reboot a few times, now I'm happy. This box connects Everytime.

Happy Camper with Dish
Arrived quickly and came in the unopened Dish network box complete with remote control and cables including HDMI. We had previously called Dish to buy from them for our RV, but they kept wanting to send an installer. We couldn’t get it through that we were not going to install at our home just activate box where we could use in our camper with a Winegard XP2 portable Dish. Only cost $7.00 extra per month to add this to our home package. Hooked up to our home satellite dish and set up and downloaded updates, so we are now ready to go camping. We are very pleased with the VIP211z and hope all goes well when we don’t have phone service to call Dish support.

Expect a challenge
Activating is a real pain...and I have a current Dish acnt! Once that was completed (2-hour process), I found that because different channels come from different satellites, I had to run the set-up process each time the channel change spanned a large range of numbers. It is sufficient, but not for a day inside the RV.

Got all I needed and I'm a happy man.
I could not have asked for an easier process. I originally used an on line entity who advertised a satellite dish for DISH/DirectTV (picture show it) but when I tried to have it installed the installer said "This for DirectTV only and you have to have a separate account for them." They could not install it and I still had to pay them $85 for the trip to my home. Then the entity was going to charge me a restocking fee and other charges to take it back. SO I used Amazon.com and ordered what I needed and everything went well. Got all I needed and I'm a happy man.
