Q: Are the suction cups optional for use?

You may remove it but the suction cups keep it steady, especially for my elderly parents, who easily lose their balance

Q: we have a textured floor - are there extra rubber feet like the front ones (not suction)?

The seat comes with four standard rubber feet and two suction feet so you can choose what you want for the rear feet. You are correct to assume the suction cup feet will not be entirely effective with a textured floor.

Q: I want to purchase additional suction cups for the legs. What are the diameters for the front and back legs?

Two 4 inch suction cups came with the unit I purchased. I've positioned them on the two front legs of the unit. I suppose a three inch suction cut might do the job but the additional support from the 4" is much greater. The photo at the right of this page shows the cups on the rear legs of the unit but I found them to be best for our use on the front legs.
