Great crash pad for figure skating!
This is a very good crash pad for figure skating! It fits my daughter well enough, with a bit of room to grow into it. She never complains of it sliding down or anything. It has padded many falls already. It is durable and cushioned well.

Helpful
I purchased this item after a painful fall on the ice. My next fall seemed a bit padded thanks to it and not as painful, I think it works! Fits on easily above a pair of pants, even jeans. I feel more secure on the ice thanks to it. Have been using it for months and it is seems durable.

Fall protection for seniors
I bought these for my elderly mother who is prone to falls. The padding is holding up well after a month of near daily use. This may not be the intended use, but it seems to work well. F

Great for skiing!
I am a beginner to intermediate level skier and had a couple of tailbone injuries while skiing in the past. This time I tried five butt protectors on Amazon and chose this one. Others are too long or too bulky. This one is perfect, lightweight, stretchy enough to wear on top of ski pants. It is black color and so does not show on my black pants. It is comfortable to ski with it with no constraint. Also comfortable to sit for lunch or on ski lifts. I fell once on my buttock, and this totally protected me. If you do more serious skiing and high impact movements, you may need something more robust. But for leisure skiing, it is perfect, at least for me.

Perfect for beginners
So far, so good. Protects my tailbone everytime I fall on my bumbum. Always hang it dry after use so it will last longer.

Not the best stitching
Fit for purpose but not the best stitching. A long seam came out after 2 wears meaning it wasnt tied off properly. Size large fit my 40" hips.

Best butt pads!
Best butt pads out there, especially for the tailbone. My daughter wears hers to every practice for doubles and now starting triples. One pair lasts about a year and a half before the tailbone area that she’s sensitive to injury begins to breakdown. (Note: she does wear them in the van on the way to the rink (warms up at school and puts skates on during the van ride there) which probably contributes to the breakdown in the tailbone area.) A lot of the club skaters have these butt pads, too.

Does the job protecting your hips and pelvis!
Does the job! Great padding on the hips/sides and bum. Made me feel a lot safer while learning new moves roller skating. Seems to hold up well over time. Fit was accurate. I wear them over leggings when I’m skating.
