Made a Mediocre couch into an awesome couch
Couch designers seem to think that people enjoy sitting a foot off the ground. I hate it. It's miserable. I don't care if it is "in style", or "better porportioned", or "it makes the room look bigger". And sitting on an extra pillow or cushion looks stupid and leaves you with no back support. These feet are a godsend. Easy install on my couch. I literally just unscrewed the old 2" thick ones and screwed in these. "But the new ones are 5" tall, what difference can 3 extra inches make?" A world of difference, that's what. For the first time since buying the couch several years ago, I can actually sit on it and enjoy it. It feels like sitting on a proper chair now, not on the ground. Its amazing!Pros:- Feet are sturdy and solid wood, not particleboard- Anchor bolt is well secured. Pivoting the couch on 2 feet to set it down did not bend or pull it out- Boring dark color blends in well with pretty much anything- I can clean under the couch now! Before that 2" gap ate everything that got kicked under. Now it all can easily be pulled out by hand.- Price is right; an order of magnitude cheaper than a new couch which would probably be even lower anyway.Cons- Paint is darker than the picture. Mine was almost black.- Paint is kind of thin and poorly adhered. Ended up with one or two small 1/8" - 1/4" chips towards the top. Under the couch they are hardly noticeable, but something worth mentioning- Wish they had a slightly taller version. This is perfect for most people, but I wouldn't mind an extra inch or two. Because why not.Despite the few minor quirks, overall they worked great and I would happily buy them again.

Worked great!
We needed a special tool to remove old legs. These went on smoothly. Look great and are tall enough that the roomba fits under couch now and it’s easier to get off couch for senior family members. Liked enough we bought second set for loveseat.

Perfect for adding height to a couch
The original legs on our couch were about 2 inches and they were made of plastic. I ordered these to add height and because the plastic legs were cracked. Now the couch sits at the right height and these legs are wood. Very sturdy and they look great. They also fit into the existing hardware that was on the couch. I found it odd that there were two holes drilled (one centered and one off centered) into each leg but the center worked for us.

Lifted our couch perfectly
We bought a new couch. We are tall and this couch was short. In the furniture showroom someone told us you can buy replacement legs for the couches. They come in so many styles, heights and colors. These were perfect. They are solid wood and the finish is great. They just screw right into the existing holes. It lifted the couch and loveseat so it is perfect height for us now. I looked at my daughter's couch and she could do it to. She got a different color and style but I guess there is a universal size for the bolts.

Looks Great, Required A Lot of Work…
Solid wood, dark enough stain that they blend with my grey and black motif (though they are not a true black and would look different against black wood), comes with all needed hardware. Seller was great, shipping was quick. They look beautiful installed and raise the couch just enough to slide the folding treadmill underneath, which was the goal, but not so high us short folks can’t sit comfortably.**For our couch they were not simple to install though. The plastic feet on our couch had been screwed in through the bottom of the foot with a deck screw, there was no bolt hole, and the material wrapped around a large part of the bottom and into the hollow legs, so you had to screw through layers of thick material, which the screws provided were not long enough to do, and it kept the new feet from being flush against the couch. Installing these required removal of the old legs, carefully removing the batting staples, cutting the extra fabric away to expose the base, installing the hardware that came with the new legs, drilling the bolt hole, and re-stapling the material edges and batting to finish the look and secure the fabric back in place. I wouldn’t have been able to do that on my own, fortunately he has experIence in that department.A drill and bits, an electric staple gun, a tool to remove construction staples and tacks, a sharp knife/scissors, as well as various screw drivers and a sense of placement was needed in our situation (to ensure legs were in symmetrical spots). Couch needed to be flipped over obviously, space to work required. Job took about 20-30min with strategic and careful fabric removal, stress at ruining my couch started about 20-30 min before that and lasted throughout completion. This will not be everyone’s experience, as your couch legs and their attachment style makes a difference, I do suggest you investigate before purchasing so you can be prepared. I love these legs, have no regrets, would buy again, however, I would not have been able to install these on my own without a lot of frustration, borrowed tools, and having to live with a clearly visible mess of ripped fabric and asymmetrical feet.

Great for raising height of low profile sofa.
We bought a low profile couch that looks great but very hard on old knees. We replaced the feet with these. They brought the couch up to perfect height and they look good. Not cheap looking.

They work great!!!
I purchased the 5 inch feet, hardware included. I am so happy I bought this product! I’m 6 months pregnant now and our couch sat so low I would sink into it and it was a struggle to get out. My husband needed the extra hardware that came with but he installed it in a few minutes and we now have no reason to purchase new furniture anytime soon. My father in law also had trouble getting in and out of a seated position before we put the new feet on and now he uses little effort to get up. If you are looking for something to raise your furniture look no further! You won’t regret it!
