I purchased these to give to the Volunteer Fire Company that I belong to and volunteer at. We do bingo (fundraiser) every Saturday night and we have a kitchen that is open and sells food and beverages to the crowd. We deep fry french fries, chicken fingers, fried cauliflower and mozzarella sticks to name a few, so we needed more tongs to help us get these out of the fry basket into their individual containers.These tongs come in a set of two sizes, 9" and 12". They have silicone tip edges that will resist up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit and they will not scratch your pans like normal metal tongs.These work so great and are made very well that they want me to purchase another set for the fire company to use.I received this product for a discounted price to use, review and to give my honest opinion.

I don't do reviews really but I thought as a sign of appreciation from a friend who gave this to me, I thought I would my honest opinion on this product. I already have tongs, I thought it was a decent pair. My previous tongs were pure stainless steel. So when I tried silicone tong. I thought these were gentler on veggies. I also love the length. It's perfect for frying. The addition of silicone on the handle was great because heat didn't transfer to the handle. I really do prefer these new silicone tongs to the previous one.

I am very pleased with this tong set. I have a lot of uses for these. My husband and I love cooking so anytime we can get two of the same tool, that works out best for us. These have durable silicone tips best for any heat, whether we are just heating up last nights steak or flipping ribs on the grill, these are very good for those.

My friend brought this on our barbecue party on the park just this weekend. She insisted me to try there instead of the metal ones i had, Wow what can i say these tongs are a lot sturdier than the standard ones i bought from the supermarket, a little bit heavier though but gives me the feeling that these things wont require replacement anytime soon, long story short it did what it supposed to and i really enjoyed the quality of these.
