Q: Does this work with electric vehicles? i have a skoda enyaq iv80

Electric vehicles require sepcial apps to work. There seems no approriate app for skoda enyaq iv80.

Q: Does this work on european vehicles vauxhall/opel with ios?

Yes, european vehicles (year 2001 gas/2004 diesel and newer) are also supported. It will work with iOS devices by Bluetooth LE (no bluetooth pairing needed).

Q: Will this turn off the service light on my insignia

I found the device works well but you need to put in a lot of effort to learn what the reports mean and how to take action. There is a vast amount of acronyms and tech jargon that are hard to interpret, it helps if you can get a manufacturer service manual. I have succeeded in using the device with the associated app to identify faults and reset sensors on my vw so I would assume that you should be able to reset the service record on your insignia.

It depends on in which country or region the vehicles were purchased. It means, if the vehicle was imported to UK from Japan or Korea after 2001, then it would be required to be EOBD/OBD-II compliant and can be used with our OBD2 scanners.
