10,000 mg of Astragalus equals 500 mg of Astragalus Extract. I know, it concerned me at first until I looked at the Supplement Facts.

Q: Is this fluid (extracted in alcohol) or powder (grinded up root)?

I don't know but the label says: (Astragalus membranaceus) (root) (A 20:1 etract equivalent to 10,000mg of Astragalus root)

Q: Does "assembled in usa" imply that the ingredients come from another country, and those ingredients are then assembled into the capsules in usa ?

I think so, since Astragalus plants grow in parts is Asia. I believe, the roots are used as health supplement, or medicinal. I started taking it after my fall & broke a wrist…it gives me energy & I think, it boosts my immune system.
