Quality is good. Price not bad. Shipping went from earlier date to day later. What lowers the rating is the fact that even though I needed 25.5 inches, I went with a longer cable (29.5"). Even though the new wire is longer, it was short. The housing was too long. So I had to use my old wire housing. It was a bit of work trying to pull out the old wire so I could reuse the housing.SUGGESTION: Don't crimp the housing. Buyer crimps to size.SincerelyES

Used it to replace brake cable on my recumbent trike.

The short one is too short to replace the front brake line. You can only cut the long one short and replace it. I use it on an electric bicycle.

I bought a universal brake kit to get an old 1959 schwinn working again & it chewed up the cables immediately on the first ride because they didn’t come with the correct cable ends for the handlebar side. I replaced those cables with these and within 5min i was riding with confidence in the old brakes again.

I was skeptical but used these in a 70s schwinn w stuck brake cables and it worked
