brilliant piece of kit. ideal for purpose and great value for its price range
there's been a few reviews on here saying this product gives feedback or doesn't otherwise perform as it should and these comments have come from alleged musicians. all i can say is B*ll&!Ks. it works perfectly. i use it as part of a home studio. plugged it inline and from the outset, it works fantastically. the settings are easy to figure out and the effects have just about every thing you would need when singing. like everything, you might need to have a little mess around with it to set it up to your other gear but as long as you don't instantly try cranking all the volumes up to max, you cannot lose. strongly recommend this just as i would any other zoom product

It definitely works
I only gave it a quick try. It seems to work well. When I start recording again I'll leave a better review.

A budget-friendly effects unit for singers and content creators but limited.
I bought this to enhance my voice in the studio when practising with my band, rather than for live work. I use some features more than others and many of the settings like 'Robot' etc. I will never use. (theyre too gimmiky). I've used it for a couple of years now.I think the Zoom V3 Vocal Processor is a budget-friendly effects unit for singers and content creators who perhaps want to enhance their vocals without too much hassle. It offers a fair mix of essential vocal effects, harmonizing features, and pitch correction, but it does have some limitations. It includes 16 built-in effects like reverb, delay, vocoder, and talkbox. They’re fun to use and work well, though as I said earlier some are more useful than others. It is pretty easy to set up and use... The controls are simple and straightforward, with dedicated knobs for adjusting effects without having to dig through menus. The harmonizer can generate 3-part harmonies, which can add depth to vocals. It’s not perfect, but for live use or quick recordings, it does the job. Pitch Correction & Auto-Tune is adjustable, so you can use it subtly or go for a full auto-tune effect. USB Audio Interface. It connects directly to a computer for recording or streaming, making it a good all-in-one option. However on the downside it has no battery option. It needs to be plugged in, which can be inconvenient if you wanted to use it in a portable setup. The plastic casing is fairly lightweight, which makes it easy to carry but not the most durable if you were gigging regulalry. The effects sound good, but you can’t tweak them much beyond the basic settings. The Zoom V3 is a solid choice for beginners or anyone who wants a simple, plug-and-play vocal processor without spending too much. It’s not the most advanced unit, and there are some trade-offs, but for basic vocal effects and processing, it does what it needs to do. If you’re looking for something more customizable or professional-grade, you might want to explore higher-end options.

Not overly impressed
The device is very simple to use and quirky fun, but that soon wore off after about an hour. It reminds me of the Zoom Podtrack P4 same build quality and serious cost-cutting deficiencies in the P4's noisy cheap headphone amps and in this not even a USB cable or power adapter just the device, manual, and set of batteries. There is a 1/4-inch tripod-type mounting point at the back which I connected to a magic arm but it proved pointless as the device kept spinning left/right as I lightly touched the pads. Placing this flat on a desk is the only way for me. The idea of using this for live stage performances would be problematic. For various reasons i.e although dependent on microphone type and placement sound other than the intended vocal can end up being processed in the device. The quality isn't going to cut it for professional use but if you're on a budget you could fudge it with this device. I suggest using a cardioid microphone to reduce the pickup away from the mic. If using a condenser microphone a shotgun or better still a pencil microphone something similar to a Behringer C-2. There is a single XLR input so if you require a 1/4 inch you will need to purchase an XLR to 1/4 inch adapter. Useful features that work well are the compressor. reverb and delay and various combinations of these. The Pitch Correct in Key or Chromatic requires a good voice source to be able to correct effectively any other loudish background sounds can really mess up this effect. So close-up vocal to the microphone and your friend is the Enhance leave it on. The not included USB data cable enables the V3 to be powered with a 5-volt power bank and will connect with your DAW as a Digital Workstation interface. If you can afford it the Zoom V6 is a better option and has all those pedals built-in more suited for live stage performance. I have been very critical about the V3 but it does have its uses for those on a tight budget working in a small home setup. It doesn't require a computer and will work standalone making for a very fun portable vocal processor for on-the-go people.

Did not work
The unit was solid but there was no batteries or power cable. Also, it would have been more complete if came with all the cables to connect to the computer.Set up seemed simple but the unit failed to deliver any sound at all.Very disappointed all round.I paid £154 for this in October. Now it shows as being reduced from 199 to 155 in the black friday sale 21st November. What a con. Amazon should be ashamed.
