Product: This is a great product! Easy to self-install if you have or can learn very basic skills with glueing PVC pipe and connecting an electrical wire. (I learned on YouTube.) Keeps my 13,000 gallon in-ground pool sufficiently chlorinated even at the 25% setting!Service: For some reason, about 24 hours after I installed it, the flow warning came on to indicate insufficient flow. I called their customer support, and after about 15 minutes of basic troubleshooting they decided to send me a new control unit along with a prepaid label to return the malfunctioning unit. The replacement unit has been working like a charm ever since!

Biggest issue for me is with the cell housing - several times during pump startup the screw-on cap popped open. During normal operation there's slow drip where cable comes out of the cap. The cap is installed properly, with o-ring in place.There's also no flow switch with this cell.Otherwise the installation and operation were smooth, chlorine production is good.

I just received this and put it to work and so far, it's done an amazing job. I love that it's 'up' and I can easily see the cell, and it would seem easy to clean when needed.The one thing I do love about this is the large control box. The status is EASILY seen from a distance. And easy to understand.I did have to have an electrician buddy do the electrical connection. Pretty straight forward three wire setup but you have to be sure of what you're doing. Mine was wired into/replacing old cell in a timer.Sidenote about the 'special financing options' from Amazon and this product:Just be aware that each month to avoid any interest charges, when you send in a payment, you have to chat/call Amazon to let them know how to allocate your payment to that special finance purchase and then your regular monthly purchases.

I am a fan of salt water. We needed a new system because our last pool system was old and hadn't been used in over 2 years. We decided to go with cirupool because of the good reviews. My husband converted it to 110. This one can be 110 or 220. We wired in an outlet and ran line to the pool area with underground pipe. This unit is basically running all the time for our 27 foot pool and maintaining the chlorine level perfectly. We added about 6 bags of pool salt to start it up. Everyone who comes over says how clear our water is.Overall, if you can do basic wiring tasks and mount the unit near your pool, you would have no problem installing this.We would recommend this to a friend; in fact we did!You will save money in the long run with a salt water pool and this is a great product for the money.

Installed with the help of my dad (certified electrician). Initially it didn't work. The attention light was on steadily, and the power light was not flashing, which is not a combination covered in the manual. I called the customer support number provided, and I was given another number for "better information," which worried me I was getting the run around. The guy at the second number asked a few questions and decided to send me a new control unit. It took a week to get it. I switched it out pretty easily, and the system still didn't work. I called the second number back, and he asked a few questions again and decided to send me a new cell. Again, it took a week to get here, but when I switched that out, it worked perfectly.I was impressed with the lack of hassle with the customer service. I was not on the phone more than 5 minutes either time I called, and the new parts came with paid return shipping for the items I was to return. Also, for the 2 and 1/2 weeks I was trying to get it to work, I had to add a gallon of chlorine every other day (it was 90 and sunny every day), as well as other chemicals to keep the water balanced. Now that my chlorinator works, I haven't had to add one chemical for 3 weeks (and it's still 90 and sunny every day). So worth it!!!
