Q: Doe it pull hard or easy when trying to open as I want to use it for a tempered glass door that's 22 inch wide by about 36 inch tall?

This Roto closer has an adjustable closing speed so you can adjust it to your liking. I'm not familiar with your type of door, but your tempered glass door would need to allow room to screw and fasten the closer to the door. Also, keep in mind that this is a heavy-duty closer so I don't know if it would be too strong for your door. I hope that helps you.

No, this product does not have the hold open function. Although not recommended, other customers have used a piece of wood on the corner of the hinge.

I'm sorry but it will not work for your vertical storm door. This hydraulic roto closer will only work with horizontal doors. Also, this closer is designed for a 35 lb. capacity.

Q: Would this work on ceiling laundry chute door? If not, what product would you recommended?

Used on door between kitchen and garage. Lasted less than 2 years. Internal spring snaps. Probably ok for a door used infrequently. Our door is probably opened 40-50 times in a day. Can't imagine how a ceiling laundry chute works.
