Why did you pick this product vs others?:Tried to get a grey cushion toilet seat in the store. They just don't have it. This is exactly what I wanted and a great price.

Trash... if you have anyone that is on the chunky side don't get it!!! Very cheap!!! The seat has what seems to be a thin layer of cardboard in it. The Amazon box cardboard can hold more weight. The screws to anchor it are very cheap, one holds the other side never stopped screwing so it's not anchored to the toilet 🥴. The plastic on the seat is so thin if you fart to hard it will put a hole. Ok that was a stretch... I think because it hasn't happened, but it is very thin. The seat also stays flat after using the bathroom for extended periods of time. But it looks kind if ok as long as it is not being used 🥴

Easy to install

I was doing a color change in my guest bathroom and needed a new beige toilet seat. I've bought literally hundreds of items off Amazon since 2006 and have noticed the overall quality of items have gone down. I purchased this toilet seat because the cost was what I was willing to pay. The quality in sorely lacking! When I was taking my perfectly good light blue toilet seat to the trash bin I noticed how heavy it was. It seemed to have an interior wood component to it. This toilet seat felt light as a Frisbee and the seams guaranteed the sides would split if a "heavy bottom relative" collapsed on to it. (lol). But I was doing a makeover and needed a toilet seat asap! It has two dents where the gromments that rest on the closed seat go and so I am hoping it will relax in time. Now I know that a toilet seat should cost more than a Starbucks Latte' but do not feel you should have to take out a mortgage to pay for a good one. Its a toilet seat for Gods sake! Had I more time I would have Scouted for a "Firmer seat". To finish off the decor of brown, beige and gold. It will do in the meantime. I would opt for a sturdier soft cushion seat and do not recommend this one unless you're on a budget! I returned the seat (before use*) as the poor quality was actually visible and I just could not deal with it. Don't waste your money! Honestly!

It would have received 5 stars because it is well made, but it arrived hanging out of the box which more than likely chipped the lid, showing white. Took 4 days instead of 2.

Good so far

I bought this same seat from Amazon three years ago, and was happy with it. So I just clicked Buy Again, but bought two this time for our new RV. Big mistake, because they CHANGED THE CORE! It no longer has a wooden core like when I bought it the first time, but a stiffened cardboard that will bend if not perfectly fitted on the toilet rim! It is no longer suitable for most RV toilets. And of course, my other half had unwrapped both and installed one before we realized it. Wasted money. Beware!

Super lightweight to the point of thinking it will break. Slides sideways if you move and eventually the hinge will snap. We are not big people, 150 lbs and 128 lbs. The padding is pretty thin also. Sorry not impressed 😳
