Senville Mini Split Ground Stand for 9000-12000 BTU Air Conditioners

Package arrived with the corner torn off, but the stand was ok. No assembly instructions were included but it was easy to figure out. Seems study and strong. I stood on it and it will only be holding a mini split that is half my weight. It would be best to check the mounting tab holes on the mini split to make sure they will line up with the width of the top cross pieces on the stand. Mine will just make it. My mini split unit will be in a garden area on soil so I am cutting a pressure treated 2X4 and attaching it to the round feet front to back on each side and making the 2X4 wider than the legs. This should keep the round feet off the ground soil and add stability. The stand great for the price, has a decent paint job and looks like it will last.

I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of this product. I searched far and wide for a stand for my central air compressor/condenser coil unit. The competition is expensive and of iffy quality. First, GS-380 the frame has quality welds, with welded mounting points for the legs. The legs are sufficiently stiff to hold the bulk of the unit. Each leg is adjustable for height, allowing level installation. The width of the mounting pads, bolted to the horizontal frame, are adjustable, to 24" width. Lastly, the price is hard to beat. To be clear, I joined two GS-380 units together, with angle iron, in order to support the full footprint of the central air unit. Oh, I forgot to mention that the coating/paint appears to be durable for outdoor. The stand(s) is mounted on a level concrete slab. The real delighter is that the stands were delivered as I was prepping the AC unit.

This is too small for a Senville 24000 BTU condenser unit. Didn't realize that till I had it put together and had poured the concrete pad to sit it on.

Box was ripped in half when I received it. There was no packing material at all in the Box additionally it does not fit the senville unit that I bought. It would not have been that hard to make it fit the unit I have thin cheap metal not worth the price

First off, the look is great. It definitely looks clean and I really enjoy that aspect.Unfortunately that's the only positive I have. To start with, as many have said, the instructions are non existent, and if you do get some, they're completely unhelpful. You have different size bolts and washers and you have to guess what goes where. If you get them all then consider yourself fortunate.Now to my biggest issue. Mini split condensers are generally pretty light, unless you get into significant BTU's. Mine is 12,000 BTU and weighs around 45lb. The stand is metal but it doesn't give any.The reason this is an issue is because unless you designed the stand to perfection, and everything is perfectly aligned, and level, things aren't going to be perfectly straight. Thus the problem... The mini split doesn't weigh enough to hold the stand down securely, and the legs are garbage. No amount of adjustments will make the feet flat without a level, a lot of patience, and significant time straightening everything out in hopes the feet will lay flat.In my honest assessment, you're better off paying the extra money for something decent instead of buying this and having to figure out how to weigh the stand down for safety.
