The media could not be loaded. Looks good, overall tolerances are good functions as it should. My only complaint would be it is a little noisy and squeaky I don't know if you could fix that with some grease or something but it's fine for my needs.I don't know if this would hold up in a professional setting but for occasional use definitely recommended.

I have used this for months now after the hook for the speedbag on my Everlast stand broke from wear and tear. The holes of the swivel unit line up exactly with the pre-drilled holes in the support board on the bag stand. Works smoothly, I have no complaints.--Update March 16, 2024--Still running strong with this swivel after many hours of use. The speed bag wore out before this did! Great quality component.

Only reason I gave 4 stars is because of Amazon. I received the package and the screws and such were loose in the box. I'm not picky but that is my only complaint. This swivel is GREAT!! Easy to reinstall and very smooth and accurate bounce back! This is what I needed!! A little loud but that's only because of the bounce board. A solid pro board there wouldn't be much noise like you hear in a thinner board! I promise you will enjoy this swivel, especially if you compare it to a crappy hook swivel like I had. It's a complete 180!

It's cool that Everlast gives you a swivel with their stands, but the swivel is lacking, if initially somewhat functional. The clip that came with the stock swivel was junk. I had to tape it to keep it closed, but after a week I was over it.This is a very nice swivel at a good price. Very, very fast compared to stock and I haven't noticed a flaw in the weeks I've been using it.Note: I thought I was going to have to drill new holes because the mounting base is so much larger and thicker than the stock swivel. I borrowed a drill etc. because I no longer have tools. I felt stupid when I took the stock swivel off and realized the holes were perfectly lined up. I had to use the stock screws, however, but this was not a problem as they were actually a little more heavy duty than the ones that came with this swivel. Either set of screws appear to me to be more than adequate. Took about 15 minutes to install, including removal of the speedbad deck from the stand. Nothing tricky about it--if you can operate a screwdriver you are qualified.Recommend highly if you have a standard plastic ball Everlast swivel.

Great swivel. The reason some people experience problems with it, especially compared to a ball and socket style swivel, is because the design is for 2 directions only, forward and back. Hitting the bag from too much of an angle causes the bag to spin in a circle (for the bag the swing in the other directions, it has to move along its leather strap, not fast at all). If your swing is true however, this swivel is fast, very fast. It also very loud. This is really the only problem I've found, it's a noisy thing, but I'm usually so focused on my rhythm and patterns that I don't notice it during a round.

I have an Everlast combo heavy bag and speed bag stand. This mount is quite the upgrade to the original mount which was a nylon ball with an eye bolt molded into it. This is much faster and smoother and mounted into the existing holes on my speed bag stand.

If you're still on the fence about buying this swivel, just go ahead and buy it. Not to make this sound wrong, but I'm not a big fan of Everlast, especially when it comes to gloves or wraps, but I do own a heavy bag, stand, speed bag, AND NOW this swivel from Everlast. I have to say I absolutely love this. It preforms perfectly and the pin stays well in place. My only gripe is that it doesn't turn easily, like if you're trying to change directions on punching the bag, but it does help you become pretty accurate. Responsive, smooth, and durable.
