Q: Does this cord have the fiber optic core like the official oculus cable?

The official Oculus cable is not a fiber optic cable, it is just a regular old high speed cable that is way over priced.

Q: Will this cord work with 30-series cards? specifically 3070 rtx

From my understanding the cable is to be connected to your regular USB outlet or usb-c outlet on your computer (connected to your motherboard). Can this cable Handel your 3070? Absolutely. It says all 20 serious and up. Now, if you have an adapter to plug it in directly to your GPU (your RTX 3070), I don't see any problem with it as long as you have the adapter to the HDMI or to the DVIE connection on the GPU. Me personally, I would plug it in the the computer. I hope someone else would also elaborate on this subject too.

Q: does it charge while you use it? i have a aniope usb cable that doesnt charge while you use it, i heard you need a usb c like this one

It does keep the headset charged. I have been able to play it for a while without losing power.
