can this be used on laminate floors to avoid streaks?

Very unhappy with mine. It's just too light to do a good job. Hopefully, you will have better luck, but it doesn't clear up streaks on my laminate floors. Sorry I bought it.

Will it get porcelain tile clean?

this machine only moves dirt from one spot to another. I use it on dry tile with a heavy mat of stone dust that is very much like potters' clay. It has loosened the clay very well for sweeping with a vacuum. I expect using a sudsing agent and a wet vac would clean any thing that a lot of hand scrubbing would do.

how to attach the felt pads

what attachments clean carpet

I didn't use the attachments to clean the carpet but this does not have enough power to clean the floor. Ib wouldn't buy this again.
