Hi there! I’m a 5’1 158IBS and I bought the 48X72 15 IBS weighted blanket and ordered a separate cover for it. I was picky about getting the right one- Glass Beads, 4 or 3 inch square pockets, good quality, and at least 8 reinforced loops.This is Day 3 or 4 with the blanket sleeping and I think laying on my back with the weight is keeping my spine, neck, elbows, and knees where it should be... this is making me wake up sore and kinda in pain, but I think this good so I’m not stopping the blanket. I don’t blame the blanket I blame the years sleeping in bad posture.And it’s heavy so at night it can be hard to pick up and move. If this is for someone who is sick or frail, definitely go lighter or else it will be hard to get off to breathe too. (As an asthmatic I have had to take it off my chest but kept it tummy and down. Worked like a charm)Being mindful of your body.All in all, I love the weighted blanket and it helps to ultimately calm me down with a good hug.I feel good and not as angry in the morning. I’ve been called names in the morning in the past. 5/5 would recommend this to all my friends including you.

I'm torn what to write here, I must admit on one hand I do like this blanket and I will be keeping it, however if I had the knowledge back then what I know now I definitely wouldn't of got the 25lbs blanket. Even as a larger male(220+lbs) I find the 25lbs too heavy, however when my girlfriend sleeps over the weight must distribute better as I find it ok then.Overall I would say buy this blanket, but don't go over 20lbs, and maybe even stay at 15...

(ordered the 17 lbs weighted blanket)Pro:There is a decent weight to the blanket. As to whether it was the weight of which i ordered, I cannot confirm that. The weight was not the issue as a blanket was covered by a duvet cover. The size of the blanket itself is bigger than expected. Based on other reviews, I found concerns about the fabric breaking and the beads falling out but I did not find anything that would indicate that.- size is bigger than expected- heavy feelCon:The design of the blanket utilizes larger squares for the design. Although I did not find any faults in the design of the blanket, it is understandable that the larger stitched squares does not allow for quality control for the heavy beads breaking through the material. A suggestion would be to provide more stitching and smaller squares.- large square stitch styles- material of blanket does not feel of high quality- packaging is like a regular blanketOverall:I would suggest that the design of the stitching should be reconsidered to implement smaller squares to improve the quality assurance in the utility of the blanket. The blanket itself is is sufficiently heavy to fulfill the purpose of a weighted blanket.3.6/5.0

If you have a little one, with sensory processing disorder this is something every parent should try for they child. I held off on getting a weighted blanket, I couldnt ever sleep with one myself and was skeptical. When i seen my son, use multiple blankets to wrap himself tightly and still search for the desired effect/ pressue he was searching for to self sooth and for comfort.It is true to size but i do wish it was wider. He looks so relaxed when he is covered in it and loves of the glass beads keep him cool in the hot hot summer. This was clearly a problem when burying himself in 5 comforters. I myself could never sleep with a 10 pound blanket. But for him, it brings absoult comfort and relaxation. I will always buy him one as he grows through life.

This blanket has great weight distribution but it’s much smaller then I expected. I should have measured out the dimensions beforehand but I didn’t. It seems to be very good quality but it’s lap quilt size. I bought it for my daughters twin bed and it doesn’t really come close to fitting. We’ve decided to just fold it at the foot during the day and lay it over her when she goes to bed at night. It has definitely helped her sleep better during the night. She’s 4.
