Love em so far and the set up with the representative was super easy she was totally awesome !! Worth the investment

We’ve had Advantree headsets for several years and love them. Sound is clear and connectivity is good. We purchased an additional headset so that both me and my husband could hear at our own level. Highly recommend this product.

2ND UPDATE (a couple more stars):The seller did not actually process the refund from the original refund, in spite of the status shown in my Amazon account order history. They did, however, send me a code for a free replacement that I was able to order through a somewhat awkward order process on their website. I figured it out, and it was shipped quickly and arrived as expected.So far, the replacement unit is working well, although its sound quality is more like pretty good than really great. That may be expected for earbuds, however, and it does provide me with the volume I need to make dialog generally more intelligible. My complaints about the original item - sound quality that had turned scratchy after a short period of use and the failure of the base unit to pass sound through to the sound bar when it was not in use, all are cured in this new unit.Here's my recommendation: take care of your hearing while you are young, but if you need a boost when watching TV later in life, this is a good unit to try.One further note about the seller -- they have been very responsive and proactive, just what you want when you encounter a product problem. Many thanks for the resolution, Avantree.Update:Added back one star - Avantree seems to have made a good faith effort to follow up after spotting my whiny review. Unfortunately I had already returned the item.If I had held on to the unit, they may have offered some alternatives. I'm pretty sure a return was still in the cards as there were three points of failure that involved both components, the dock and the headset. It's possible this was just an anomalous defective unit, but after a couple weeks messing with it as it progressively got worse, I was just done with it and will continue to look for something that reliably helps compensate for my partial hearing loss as I watch TV.Original Review:Although its sound through the headset was initially acceptable, after some use the sound quality became scratchy and there was no longer any change in sound character when pressing the equalizer mode select button. It should also be noted that the transmitter dock must always be turned on to pass sound through to a sound bar, even if the headset is turned off. There is no passive pass-through, so the dock must always be powered up. In cases where the headset user isn't present, this results in a set of flashing lights on the transmitter dock as it is waiting to pair. This can be annoying to a TV viewer and may require covering the dock or placement out of the viewer's sight line.Overall, I'm disappointed with the purchase and am returning it.

These earbuds have worked well for me. The neck band and actual buds are very comfortable.This product comes with a multi-functional base. It can interface with many audio outputs such as aux and optical. In my experience, it is the only optical audio interface that has ever worked.I hooked the optical port from my TV to the base with the supplied optical cable. I set my TV's sound to optical out, and everything worked perfectly. Since the base and buds are already synced to each other, I just turn on the buds to get audio. When I'm done using the buds, I just turn them off at the neck collar. To resume the audio, I turn them back on at the collar. No need to re-sync anything!I also like the base because it has a charging port for the buds. I just lay the collar into the recessed place on the base to charge them.These buds will also work in the traditional Bluetooth manner and can be charged with a USB C cable.I really like these buds. They are pricey, but well worth the money!

This has been one of my worst purchases. I had to hire someone to connect it because I am a senior citizen and unable to get to the connectors on my TV which is mounted on my fireplace. I also live in a rural community so finding someone was difficult to come to my home. The two people who came didn’t know how to connect the device and had to use the video to sort it out. It took 90 minutes and cost me $139. Very frustrating. But, I thought these would allow others to hear the TV as I listened with enhanced audio, but that doesn’t happen. I don’t know if they are connected incorrectly or not. To use them I now have to use a separate remote and go through a series of steps that I am afraid to do because I don’t know if I will be able to get the tv back to its normal volume control. 😵‍💫 It is a total bust for me. They sit on my mantle… I can’t even disconnect them to return them because I can’t get behind the TV.

These are nice!Super easy to set up on our T.V.!I hope they last longer than the previous set/brand that I bought for my husband. These seem to be much better quality.My husband is happy with them. I will update this review after using them for a bit. So far so good!UPDATE:These only lasted just under 12 months. The volume button on the headset has gone out. I've tried connecting to my phone and adjusting the volume back up but once connected back to the T.V. the volume still can't be adjusted through the headset button. Pretty disappointed because I've yet to find a set that will last more than a year.

I LOVE THESE. 3 months, so far, of daily use.They fit. They work. They’re dependable.Replaced over the ear headset that was hurting my ears. These are soooo much better.
