Great for outdoor and household projects
I purchased these to reupholster our outdoor patio swing — I needed something that would withstand outdoors and various weather situations. So far (4 weeks), this glue has held up beautifully! I have also used it on other quick home repairs, including reattaching a rubber trim to our dishwasher and sticking back parts of our exercise mats that had come undone.I wouldn’t recommend this glue for regular crafting, because of the longer period for it to cool/harden. That is a positive element when you are needing to make some modifications/tweaks after adhering, but on regular crafts I felt I was having to wait much longer than I wanted to for it to solidify. For example, this glue was overkill for attaching googly eyes and other kid crafts where I wanted it to harden quickly so the kids could play with them (patience isn’t their forte).

It's hot, and sticks stuff to stuff
I purchased this on a recommendation, specifically to hold some home made anchors attached to the bricks on the outside of my house. For Halloween this year, I wanted to have skeletons crawling up the side of my house, but didn't have many points to attach it to. And I didn't want to drill holes and use concrete anchors. I had serious doubts that it would work, but after almost a week and a couple of storms, the skeletons are still there, trying to get into my son's bedroom. I can imagine that this stuff will work on crafts really well if it can do this. Highly recommended

very sticky, not for dog collars
5 stars for warmth and stickiness, cuz they get really sticky when hot. Sticks to everything. Brick, wood, skin, clothes, Christmas lights. You name it, it sticks. Dont use to put dog collar on dog. Wife got really mad about that. Dog wasnt really happy about it either. Did not work well for patching truck tire, but i didnt drop the rating as Im not sure its rated for that.

They were great with my new glue gun
I am not sure there is a big difference in glue stick that you can buy. Except for the colors. And maybe how fast they dry. These seem to be a good all-around choice.

Not the best, but still great.
I used to get these gluesticks that were super cheap from a local craft store before the owner retired and closed the store. They were great and are forever what i compare hotglue sticks to.The gorilla sticks work well on the hot setting, but are slow and lumpy on the lower setting of the glue gun i use.the adhesion is on par with most, but doesn't stick to acrylic as well as other i've used.since i mostly use these to glue the feet of collectables to shelves, this can be kind of an issue, but these hold better than the last brand i bought, but not as good as those cheap craft store ones.

Strong bonding, value for the money
I'm not a heavy user of hot glue, so this package will probably last me several years. I have a cheap Stanley hot-melt glue gun, and these work fine in that. I haven't had an issue with anything I've glued coming unglued, so it seems to do the job well.

Good quality
Melts easily, sticks well. I’m using it in my dual-temp glue gun and it’s works well at either temperature.

meaningful difference in adhesion compared to other sticks
In the past, I've used 3 glue sticks not paying attention to the type and composition - 2 types of white, that come standard with a basic glue gun, and black, that is supplied with some specialized kits. After failures of both types for some household projects, I looked at other types of glues. So far, the Gorilla sticks clearly outperforms the basic ones -nothing yet has failed. Will see how these perform over a long run, but so far I would highly recommend.
