SpeickSpeick Men Pre Electric Shave Lotion - 100ml

The product came packaged very well and without plastic plus the benefit of a speedy delivery to my chosen location.This lotion first of all comes in a well designed glass bottle that allows you to splash as appose to pour making it much easier to portion the correct amount.I used the lotion on a clean dry face and it primed my skin incredibly well, very delicately scented and non greasy, it left my skin feeling really fresh and clean.The razor action was super slick and needed fewer passes than my previous pre-electric to get a clean shave, no razor burn at all. Without a doubt the best electric shave I have ever had.There are not many products like this on the market, I have pretty much tried them all and this Speick lotion is in a league of its own. Very pleased I tried this one and best of all for me it is a vegan product. Compassionate skin care I love it.

I only use an electric shaver as a backup to my morning daily wet shave to get rid of the stubble when going out in the evening. As such I am not an expert when it comes to electric shave products. My go to pre-electric shave brands being Boots and Superdrug which are cheap and effective for my somewhat limited needs. Unfortunately, I ran out just before going on holiday so had to resort to other means and I chose Speick because I needed it quickly and it came out favourably in reviews. Albeit at a price.Whilst I am pleased with the results, I cannot say that it is significantly better than the High Street brands but at twice the price. Don't get me wrong it's a good product and I will definitely order again if I have to but for my limited needs it's not good value for money.

Makes the electric shave more smoother and has a pleasant smell.

I’ve been doing the majority of my shaving (both face and entire scalp-I’m a baldy) using electric shavers for years now, with the odd wet shave thrown in. There are some exceptional electric shavers around now, so I find myself having a wet shave with less and less frequency.I do often get mild irritation though from my electric shaver. It’s not really bad or terribly uncomfortable, but I do get it. So I thought after all these years that I would try a pre-electric lotion. I did a bit of research and decided to try this lotion.I used it on my face and all over my head, it doesn’t take a lot. When I started shaving, the difference was immediate and night and day obvious. The smoothness and comfort was exceptional. I was really surprised because I wasn’t expecting a product to make such a huge difference. The closeness of the shave with fewer passes of the shaver was very noticeable too. And my skin was left smooth, soft, and comfortable afterwards, not at all dried out, and no irritation whatsoever. The only slight downside, and it is only my opinion, is that I’m not overly taken with the scent. It’s not terrrible, and it’s not strong, it doesn’t last for long after the shave, but I don’t really like it but can live with it.Otherwise, I really recommend this product. It really is a game changer.

Nice scent and without too strong an alcohol so no stinging. I wouldn't use it on it's own before a shave but find it works very well with the Speick shaving cream to give an excellent smooth shave.

I have tried many, this is the best you can get, it does the job perfectly leaving a clean lovely shaved skin that feels great.

A good shaving liquid but I did not like the scent

Rather more costly than the offerings from Boots and Superdrug, but infinitely better. Mild lavender perfume, but distinctly masculine and a quicker, closer shave. No contest! I'm not going back to the High Street.
