Absolutely Beautiful! I didn't expect some of the detail on this book. The Painted image having texture that emphasizes different shapes on the cover, the gold page edges, the large print. It even had feature pages inside with different quotes on them. Gorgeous from every side ❤️

This is a beautiful addition. Someone commented negativity about the inside text...I guess we all have our preference but I don't mind it at all.

The book cover (front and back), shows a beach scene. Some of the areas of the cover is raised, enhancing the picture shone on each side. The edges of the pages are gilt in gold. The title page in front states. "This painted edition belongs to_____." Book bound by Harper Muse Classics: Painted Editions Collection. They did an awesome job, great to gift to those who love Jane Austen and her works. Arrived within 3-4 days..

Really lovely book, but be aware that the story line is the same. No surprises in here.

This is a beautiful rendition of Jane Austin's, "Persuasion".

The outside aesthetic of this book is nice, but the copy I received arrived with damage to the gilded edges and the slip case I was intending on keeping on was already torn on the side. If I had been in the store, I certainly wouldn't have chosen this copy to purchase so it's disappointing that it was sent to me.I'm also not a huge fan of the inside layout of the book - I think it should be illustrated more than it is. However, that opinion obviously comes down to personal aesthic choices so don't put too much stock into it.

Para uma edição de colecionador, o livro deixa muito a desejar. As imagens do interior são em preto e branco, e não é como o esperado. Outra coisa, é que a Amazon deveria melhorar o armazenamento dos livros, pois vem amassado e com sujidades.

One of my favourite novels, I had it in audio, ebook and as part of an omnibus with teeny tiny print, but not in its own edition. Very happy to have such a beautiful version, in fact the cover makes me happy just looking at it! I hope they will release more Jane Austen novels in painted editions.
