These are more like whipped, not mashed. But whipped is what I wanted. These are great, and very easy to make. The quantity of water in instructions is a bit too little. Always have to add more.

Incorrect "per ounce" pricing
!!!THIS PRODUCT NEEDS THE PRICING PER OZ FIXED!!! 3lbs is only 48 oz, so the product (while on sale for $38) is 80 cents an ounce, not 8 cents an ounce. This makes it more expensive than competitors who have a longer shelf life.

Surprised that this is only five-year shelf life
Most of these rediness prepper food products brag about having a 25+ year shelf life. This one is only five years. I marked the can with the expiration date and put it towards the front of my prepper stash. Ingredients look good, but I am not as concerned with that when looking at a potential situation that makes me have to crack it open. Can is full and stacks well with my other ones.
