Q: Does this smell like coconut???

Not really. It is a mixture of coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter. Smells more like a cookie to me

Q: Is the container supposed to be sealed?

The lid has a pressure seal on it and it just seals it with the lid on to prevent leaking. There is no seal to peel off before using.

Q: Can I apply it to my face?

I apply a very very small amount around my eyes and mouth. It's wonderful for the body but I find that it's a bit heavy on my face.

Q: Why has it been changed to the yellowish liquid?

It should not be yellowish liquid unless it is completely melted because of hot temperatures. If it is at room temperature and liquid, you should return to exchange for a new one. If it has been melted due to hot temperatures, stick in fridge for a bit to cool and regain texture
