wool is superior
these socks are fantastic! my old cotton socks would cause rashes to break out on my feet when i laced up my boots extra tight for work. not these wool ones though. they are more breathable than i expected. feet don't get too hot, even in 95 degrees farenheight weather. perfect ankle height. love the color combinations they come in. only two problem with these.1. i wish they were just slightly larger. my feet are fairly wide. EEE. they are still comfortable and I'd rather have it be a little too snug, rather than too loose.2. after a real hot day of high physical activity, they have a significant amount of fabric pilling. although it could be the material of my boots causing that problem, and i don't think it's a big enough deal to go anywhere under 5 stars. still love the socks.

Best Wool Socks for Hiking – Warm, Cushioned, and Durable!
I bought this 6-pack of wool socks for hiking, and they’ve been absolutely perfect. Super warm without being too thick, and they provide just the right amount of cushioning for long treks. No blisters, no bunching, and they breathe well even after hours on the trail. I’ve worn them in everything from chilly morning hikes to damp conditions, and my feet stayed dry and comfortable every time. They've held up really well after multiple washes too. Great value for a set of durable, reliable hiking socks — highly recommend!

Ok for spring, summer, fall hiking - NOT compression grade socks
I bought the Anlisim Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking socks in medium. I wear size 8 - 8.5 US women's size shoes. The socks are pretty good, but I do not consider them compression socks at all. They are also advertised as having a thick cushion. The cushion is not as thick as Kirkland (Costco) wool socks, but I am happy for that since I purchased these as a summer weight hiking sock. Out of the bag they were quite loose. After washing and drying on medium heat they tightened up enough that I am willing to keep them, but overall I am not especially impressed. If you want them for good compression, look elsewhere such as Sockwell - which are expensive but provide true compression and are worth the expense if you actually want true compression socks. I wore the Anlisim socks yesterday on a 12 mile, 2,500 foot elevation gain hike. Compared to Kirkland (Costco) and Darn Tough hiking socks, these feel quite fibrous which became a bit irritating on the bottom of the foot toward the end of a long hike. I am not certain how well the heel and toe areas these will hold up compared to Costco and Darn Tough socks. I was hoping these would be a nice substitute for Darn Toughs which I am trying to get away from b/c Darn Toughs are 100% synthetic (not to mention ridiculously expensive). Anlisim are thinner than Kirkland wool socks, making this brand better for summer hiking than Kirkland, but I will stick with Kirkland socks for cool and winter season activities because Kirkland are more comfortable (soft, non fibrous cushion underfoot), fit better, and hold up reasonably well in the toe and heel. For day-to-day wear Anlisim socks are fine, but I am not sure I will buy them again.

Awesome socks at a great price
The only thing better than putting on a brand new pair of these socks is the love of a good woman. I was at first skeptical of how thick these socks are, especially because they’re made of wool. They are exceptionally breathable during hot summer days, but also keep your feet plenty warm when cozying up inside. The arch support band works wonders, and the heel/toe is quite thick allowing for a nice cushioned feel. It’s like walking on brand new carpet, I will definitely be buying more of these.

Very comfortable socks!!!
These are comfortable!!! I wear a women's size 10 (men's size 9) and have had to size up my socks to get comfy. These fit great! They are nicely cushioned and a little snug around the arch, very nicely designed. There is ample room for my toes to move around freely. I wish there wasn't any polyester in these, but they're at least mostly wool - definitely a better fabric mixture than most socks out there! I love wool socks because they can keep your feet warm when needed but also cool them down with the natural moisture wicking. Definitely worth giving these a try!

Great socks for all seasons
Great socks. Can wear multiple days without washing and they don't smell. Great for hot or cool weather. Wore them for five weeks walking around Italy and they were never uncomfortable. On second set now. First set lasted about two years with daily wear.

Great wool socks
Fantastic value for the money! These socks fit great and offer all the benefits that come with wool. Good amount of cushion, don't absorb smells, and surprisingly comfortable even in summer. I've worn them daily for about a month at this point and aside from some minor pilling and shedding, they have no noticeable wear.

Summer or winter. Great buy.
Love these. Bought for summer. Warm yet not sweaty. Cushion but not bulky. Warms cold feet and cool in summer. Was skeptical at first unpacking looked like lots fibers not fixed to anything but they wash well. Doesn’t slip down your heel and doesn’t squeeze your foot. It will adjust nicely and comforting to put on. Would like to try more from this company. They can feel free to send me something to try. I’ll review it. Would buy again!
