I don't see why not as long as the train track is metal. It is possible that steel wool wool work to polish the train track.

This is a "fantastic" police. Works well on all metals, especially silver, copper and brass.Highly recommend this product. I have used many metal polishes over the years andwould rank this at the top of the list.

Can this be used on silver plated items?

I would always check the manufacturers web site before I used any product to polish any type of "plated" surface, not just silver but copper, brass, etc.
