I purchased 2 different risers before this one, and they did not work on an elongated bowl. This one fits elongated well, looks good. Great product

This seat provides the height we were looking for and the armrests are necessary for the patient to be able to get up. I had to remove the original toilet seat and lid to make room for this seat and that's quite ok aesthetically. The clamps that tighten to hold the seat in place are a hard plastic as is the 'wing' on the front and hard plastic does not hang on to hard porcelain so the seat slips. I tried putting the original seat back on with the hope it keeps this seat from slipping back toward the tank but that didn't keep the 'wing' in front from popping off. Overall it's good but it loses 1 star since I'll need to get some rubber bungee straps to secure it.

This product works fine for a female anatomy but not for a male's. There is a small space between the item and the original toilet seat and when a man urinates while sitting down, it leaks all over the floor! Also, the handles are too close to your body. A women might be alright with it but a man or a heavyset person would have difficulty getting on the seat. However, the handles are removable if it is too tight for a person.

I am a 5’9, 165lb male. This seat is very narrow and doesn’t fit comfortably. In addition the seat slams down when I stand up. Bad design.

I am a large man and my deal hits the front of The seat. This occasionally creates a flow that comes down the inside of the front of the raised seat and leaks out above the toilet, then on the floor. It should have plastic that extends into the bowl to prevent this from happening. It makes it very uncomfortable to stick a hand down there and deflect it straight down into the water, Especially if you’re dealing with back pain from surgery; sometimes this is very difficult to accomplish. If I had to do this again, I would look for other options.
