Redhead Revolution's Vegan Gingerlash Redhead Mascara | Light Brown Mascara for Redheads & Blondes (Genuine Ginger)

The media could not be loaded. I have been a huge fan of RedHead Revolution for the last 3 years! Not only is the story of this Woman run company impressive, the product(s) stand alone! I have been waiting for the waterproof (sweat proof) mascara living in the hot valley of NorCal and this is AMaZing! Although I don’t appear like most gorgeous redHeads, I was born a true Auburn, green eyed, burns super easily gal! So finding colours that match my true shade/colouring have been difficult at best and then add sensitive eyes to the mix… I need all of the help I can get. This colour & volume is totally buildable, yet it keeps a natural look and is easily removed without damage to eyes or the use of industrial strength make up removers. The last bonus is now it is available on Amazon and I believe one can use the subscription option ensuring you never run out & get points using your Amazon card! I haven’t verified the subscription portion becuase I don’t want to start over on my review! I don’t always review products, but this one is unique and deserves people knowing more about this great Mascara!It came earlier than I had expected and well worth the small fee for shipping (i only needed the waterproof mascara this go around). Amazon does a great job of notifying you of your delivery status.If You’re a true Redhead 👩🏻‍🦰 or if you choose to be one with a talented colourist, this mascara will keep you looking your best and highlighting the unique 2% beautiful population that is being a RedHead! You can officially stop looking for the perfect mascara and colour. I forgot to say, this doesn’t make you look like you have red rimmed eyes, an issue I have had with basic brown mascara of the past & present. Another huge side point, it does tick all of the boxes of being vegan & cruelty free as well! I’m so excited!!!! Thank You, Redhead Revolution and your social medial team for keeping us up to date on products and being on Amazon now… Simply , Wow!!

I loved this product. I was cursed with light blonde eyelashes to go with my ginger hair, and frankly black mascara makes me look insane if I don’t have eyeliner on. Brown mascara is never light enough and looks black on me. This mascara is perfect for a “no makeup-makeup” look. I use it about 4x a week and it’s lasted 3 months, and I could probably get another month out of it. It stays on all day and didn’t flake or smudge. Not waterproof, but that isn’t an issue for me. It’s easy to remove and gives a decent lift. I have zero complaints.

I initially bought Honest Auburn because my hair is like a copper brown, but it was way too dark for my taste for a no makeup look. I reordered Genuine Ginger, and it's a real winner. It's the perfect shade for me where I feel like I can enhance my natural features without anyone noticing I'm wearing it. Honest Auburn would be good for a look if was doing full makeup because it is a bit lighter and more red tinted than my drugstore brown mascara, but it still looks like I'm wearing a too dark out of place mascara when I'm wearing no other makeup. I think Genuine Ginger would be the best choice for almost any shade of redhead who wants a natural color. The formula is okay, no "enhancing", but the color alone is incentive enough to reorder. I am wearing one coat of each in the photos with no curling.

This is by far the most expensive makeup product I have ever bought. But it is so worth it. I have strawberry blonde hair and eyelashes and black mascara doesn't look good on me. This is the first time I've ever seen myself (I am not young) in mascara and thought I looked nice. It applies smooth and even, and lasts throughout the day. This is expensive in my opinion for mascara, but I still think it's worth it. It makes me feel really pretty and confident. I definitely get this again!

As a natural strawberry blonde, the ginger color of this mascara is fantastic on my very blonde eyelashes. The closest match for a truly natural look without being too dark. My problem with the mascara is that it arrived dried out. Whether this is due to the formula itself, improper storage or being beyond the best by date, I have no way of knowing. I did add saline eye drops and put the tube in warm water which allowed decent application but I seemed to start flaking off within an hour or so. I ended up using the wand from a mascara I love, that was still very moist but a little too dark, and the combined color was pretty nice and it lasted all day without flaking.This mascara is priced too high to not to be fresh every time. If I do chance it again it will be because of the much more natural color.

This stuff is EVERYTHING you don't want in a mascara: clumpy, dry, unsaturated in color that does not stick and is not consistent throughout the lashes...it's just terrible. What angers me the most about this product though, is that I was looking at TWO other mascaras, and I could have bought them BOTH for what I paid for this garbage. I feel tricked, but I'm the one with power here, because...We may be the 2%, but keep this in mind: red hair is HEREDITARY, and all of my ginger family members will know that they're better off saving their $25 every month or two and buying something that is both more affordable AND of higher quality. That's the REAL "revolution". A $25 lesson that is worth every penny.
