As someone who trains others and myself everyday I get to go through a variety of jump ropes and have had my fair share of good and not so good ropes. This rope has been used a fair amount by users of various levels of abilities with a couple of them quite reluctant to give it back when the training session has finished which from my own use I can see why.For me what makes a good rope is one that has both smooth silky like bearings and one which rotates without any kinking or jumping when in motion which thankfully this rope has and does respectively.The handy zip bag keeps everything neat and tidy as well as keep a hold of the spare end caps and allen key for which the rope can be quickly adjusted depending on user height. Even with a few inches of excess wire, the rope rotates smoothly without any interference. The included user guide gives some good info on how to adjust the rope for optimum use and results.The rubber wire protector is easy to fix in place ready for outdoor use and can be removed when needed. Given that we train regularly outdoors and indoors I have left the guard in place.The plastic hollow handles are suitably sized for most users that have tried the rope.Asides from the overall quality that cannot be faulted and gives the impression that it will last well, the free lifetime warranty adds to the overall satisfaction of my purchase should the need ever arise for repair etc.

I bought this rope as an upgrade after 'mastering' double unders. It's a very fast rope which takes a while to get use to but once you've got the hang of it you'll never want another rope.The quality of the rope is very good, the handles are strong and the wire if covered in a strong plastic.It's really easy to alter the rope using the tools provided.The rope comes with an instruction manual, tools, stoppers, a bag and an outdoor protector. The bag is very handy to keep everything together but it's not the best quality. It could have been built to a slightly better standard.Overall I would recommend this rope of you're looking for a fast, well built rope.

Best, or should that be 'beast', rope out there by a long way. I had to contact the company owner Ben to sort out a small issue I had with the product initially (stuck bearing), he was polite, courteous and had excellent customer service and support skills. He sorted the issue immediately to get me a perfectly working rope. The rope itself is excellent, very fast for those double-unders, as well as being very well designed and engineered. It's easy to use for a beginner but also good enough for more advanced use. Instructions are good and in multiple languages. The package include spares and an Allen key for adjusting the length of the rope into the handles. All of this is presented in a branded, protective pouch.

It comes with a protective base layer to hold at the bottom when you're skipping which does protect from wear and tear when skipping outside. However, with the thin and pretty weak handles, this makes the sensation in your hands horrible, you can feel vibrations almost. Not the best product and really disappointed.

Firstly. I'd like to say thankyou for sending me a second rope after I had contacted you to say there was no allen key in the first one you sent me. I received the first one on Thursday, messaged about the allen key and by Sunday I had another rope at my door, talk about A* customer service 👌 The rope is fab, lightweight and great for working on my speed and stamina. I've been wanting to nail skipping 'like a boxer' for aaaaaaages so I saw lockdown as the perfect opportunity. My old rope wasnt built for speed 😄 So I am very happy with my new rope and I am gradually getting better at skipping like a boxer! Next.....double unders!

TERRIBLE QUALITY! I got this believing it would help improve my double unders (I do 100+ unbroken). However, the bearings on one handle were stuck, so it wouldn’t spin and the rope tangled around my hand. Not only was this UNSAFE (ie I could have tripped), Beast Gear make a point of emphasising the quality of the bearings and I’d seen ANOTHER REVIEW OF THE SAME ISSUE, which has obviously not been addressed. If you’re not that serious about jumping rope then sure, go ahead, buy one. But if you are, or are trying to develop your skills, well, as the saying goes ‘buy cheap, spend twice’. Highly disappointing for a company who are not newcomers to the market. Perhaps they should spend more on quality products than glossy marketing.

Okay so I’ve only had this jump rope for two days and haven’t used it as much as I would have liked (stupid job getting in the way) but so far I’ve been very impressed with the rope. It looks great and is very light. The rope protector is a great little tool to use and it is so simple to adjust the length to your liking.I’ve tripped over a fair few times as the rope is that damn fast, which is no bad thing. I can’t wait to get the time to practice with this rope and improve my skipping (and fitness of course)Ben emailed me the next day to check if everything was alright with the product, which is something I admire from beastgear. I am an amateur ‘outdoor skipper’. I didn’t want to spend £20 odd quid in a rope I will use intermittently, cause clearly I’m cheap.This is a good rope as far as I can see. My last one was kindly gifted by a mate, an it’s slightly better than that.The little rubber thing in the bottom does not ‘imbalance’ the rope unless your some blag pro skipper with no other hobby. Just put it in the middle.Decent cheap little rope for part time skippers.
