What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Love it. Two great actresses in one of their best performances

Wanted to see this for years but never got round to it, well worth hiring or buyingBette Davis is a legend in this film!

Former child star Baby Jane Hudson lives with her crippled sister and refuses to accept that her career is long over. Real life rivals Bette Davis and Joan Crawford star in this creepy and gripping psycological horror drama as the Hudson sisters, two former child stars with Jane refusing to accept that she is no longer a star and playing cruel pranks on her crippled sister who is confined to a bed and wheelchair. Excellent performances from both Bette Davis and Joan Crawford with Davis nominated for best actress though she didn't win. It has aged a bit and is slightly camp but Davis and Crawford will have you gripped throughout.

I wanted my daughter to see this classic film for our regular girly film night. She thoroughly enjoyed it and even though it is dated, is black and white, has no special effects and is not quite politically correct in many aspects - she thought it was fantastic. Bette Davis and Joan Crawford did not like each other in real life and you can see this spill through is certain scenes. I have always been a fan of Bette Davis and now she has another fan in my daughter - brilliant film!

A movie to watch before you die.Thoroughly engaging film.Sinister, camp, funny.

This is one of the most classic movies of all time - and knowing the backstory of the relationship between Bette and Joan it’s even better.
