I have used it outside in the wind, but I had to use something to hold it down. Hope this helps.

No, it does not have a stand to bu used horizontally

Q: Hi, I would like to know what is the exactly size for the banner in feet? I don't want to print my banner and it wont probably fit. Thank you!

I had the same concern. Our banner was 24" by 60" with holes and grommets ~3/4" in from the corners (which appears to be a standard dimension for banners). But being that the upper rods are flexible it was easy to bend them to fit. I just set it up and played with it and suspect that you could make it work with a banner that was ~55" long and slightly narrower than 24" (maybe ~22 wide).
