Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice cable at a good price. The 19X1 strands are pretty stiff and strong, but plenty flexible enough to bend with a transition from level to angled for stairs. Very tough to cut - do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a quality cable cutter like Knipex. Also, don't order a length that is too close to what you expect to need. The job is a lot easier if you have excess cable to sacrifice while cutting and pulling it.

So far everything is working and looking great. Helping a neighbor build his railing and recommended the same cable for him to get.

The media could not be loaded. Cable is smooth and uniform in appearance and finish. Cable stretches more than I expected but probably not more than it should. I didn't account for it. My Thimbles Collapsed under the stress of the cable, They were poor quality.

Looks great...waiting on weather to install

Worked great for my project. Hadn't rusted at all been out for a few months in Florida rain. Cutters started to dull last few cuts of job. They are definitely disposable cutters but worked great for the roll and got job done.

I was impressed with the quality. Extremely hard to cut with cable cutters. I found the best way to cut it was with a thin 4” grinding wheel.

Amazon sells a lot of Chinese products that just don't have the quality that we expect to have. When the label on the wire says stainless, one would tend to think that it wouldn't rust--not so. I would suggest checking out the manufacturer of any product before you buy it from Amazon. This isn't the 1st time that I got trash from this site.Liz's house was completed a few months ago, she is on the beach and her wires and components are complete rust. Toms house was done two weeks ago and the wire and components on his handrails are beginning to rust. I have about 6 houses that I am about to go back and completely rebuild their handrails because of the rust.Mophorn wire will rust--don't buy it!!!Perry P. Texas

This is a terrible product that cost our small business a lot of money. We installed this on an oceanfront house and told the customer that it is rated for that as per the item description. However, it began to rust just weeks after installation. Now, it will be a SIGNIFICANT cost to our company to go out to the customer's home to replace all of this cable rail. We will not only have to purchase new cable (hopefully of a much higher quality), but also new turnbuckles and terminal ends. This is going to be a huge expense for our very small company, and the labor cost alone will be unbelievable.
