The seam guide helped when I was doing the binding on several quilts, I can only use it on my older machine as the metal plate in not close to the pressure foot. My newer machine the plate is too close to this and moves.So, I have both new and old sewing machines for my projects.

So far, I'm loving these magnets. They are strong enough to stay on while sewing and I can tell that my seams are definitely more consistent - a great thing!

Works well as described and certainly a good accessory to have for my sewing. The magnet is strong and there is no slipping while it is being used.

Despite being a very novice sewer, this little gadget has proven to be quite a help. Previously, I'd struggled to line-up my seams to fabric edges and other seams. Now it's a cinch. The magnet is super-strong. As you position it near metal it snaps right out of your fingertips, yet once in-place you can easily nudge it into position without worrying it might move around on its own. The spring level is handy when a section of uneven fabric comes along. The attached photo shows how using this gadget helped me keep two adjacent seams spaced evenly apart. The result was very professional looking, with is something I'm surly not.

The item was as described and did arrive in good time. Item seems alright, but there are no instructions included, and I haven't figured out yet how to use it. I'm going to have to look at the videos, but really would have appreciated included instructions to keep with the items. For those reasons, I only gave it a 3 star rating.

I'm a novice sewer at best. This guide has elevated my sewing skills. Already did a perfect hem on some resized pants. Going to downsize some shirts next!
