I can barely hear this frequency and my family knows it so it helped with the gag because they would hear it and I mostly wouldnt so I kept the poker face with no issues. My oldest is away at college but not far so he comes home every couple weeks and I moved it each time he did so he totally caught the blame and totally didnt know what was up till he caught me smirking when he was being interrogated. He played along till his weak-ass poker face gave me up.It was fun while it lasted and totally worth the money.

Arrived with all batteries basically dead. One chirp and the unit was worthless. Guess the prank was on me.

I work in a tech office where we also repair Chromebooks, Laptops and other tech. I hid all 3 in different areas of the shop for several days and changed the tones. When they started talking about getting maintenance to come check the noise I decided to turn them off for awhile.

I'm a firefighter so obviously we do pranks on each other. I bought 2 sets of these and set up all 6 in the bunkroom of one of the guys. I thought it was going to be great, we ended up running calls all night so none of us got to sleep. Karma I guess. Lol.I'll try again next shift.

Sound volume is VERY low compared to other similar products. There is a 20+ minute wait between sounds. I can create two noises-- cricket and a pc beep -- but not sure how to use the "7" sounds in description. Easy to turn on and off. Card feels sturdy and well made. Battery life I assume may last 2 years since the volume and frequency of the sound is less than others I have used. Sound is so infrequent I would not recommend this model of the cricket noise maker

Put one of these in my son's car and it has lasted for 2 months so far, lol. Great practical joke.
